So I’m going to go in a different direction because I found this inside my 700 size Jet Ranger. The mechanics and the fuselage started resonating at different frequencies. I had to make two L-bend stiffeners to go from the mechanics to the fuselage in the doghouse to fix it. Eventually my main mast bearings started to wear out and accentuated the vibration/wobble.

Something else that really helped mine and the shakes Is i took a lot of time and CG’d and balanced my stock blades which were off a lot in CG to each other , sure helped with the resonant airframe destructing vibes . I about gave up on mine too but now I own 2 lol 😂 they’re just too cool looking and sound great in air. And the belt actually holds up which was my main concern . I’ve had a few times on my camo version where the one way bearing locked up I have to reach in hold gear and pop it free and I made some landing gear legs out of heated plastic tube , if you’d ever want send yours to me I’ll fit it with extra GTB rotor head I have ( shortens height ) ,do the anti rotation link mod ,balance it all out get it flying and send it back for cost of shipping ! I only know the spectrum FBL controller though and I live in the states . Wish I was closer to help you out with everything i’ve learned over last year on these cobras .

I feel your pain have the gray and camo versions got them both flying pretty good after months of toiling and trial and error using a shorter GTB 450 rotor head shortened the control rods to swashplate changed the anti rotation link to plastic link and took off counter weight that was on 3 mm machine screw , had both do a resonance frequency and rubbed out top of fuselage hole but once it was balanced at low speeds the resonance never came back this is with original balanced blades and mid stick 5 degrees max is 10.8 deg but I’m always very wary of another crazy event that tears it apart in flight just don’t trust them ….

Love the medical tape and super glue trick...that's an epic idea!! Really enjoy watching your modelling skills mate, sure is a bit different than chucking a battery in a turn key model. Built an F-4 Phantom II twin 70mm EDF years ago with all the bells and whistles. Took 18 months to finish it, servo controlled gear doors and everything..That's why I appreciate a true modeller.. Beautiful model and a great series mate. My heart rate was well high on the second flight lol. Bloody retracts... Always have issues with them on my fixed wing models... They do finish off a build nicely though.

Been a while since I've "flown" an RC heli (Though it doesn't really count as it was a fixed pitch Dragonfly) Really want to try it again as it's been ~20 years...and I'm trying to go broke lol. Electronics have come a very long way in those 20 years. To watch a heli setup so close it hovers hands off in calm conditions shows how far they've come.

Hi there, do you mind me asking what happend to those plans with the fenestron Helicopters? Also the Eurofighter still in the works?

Nice to see somebody else with one of these. The factory set up is really nose heavy. I’ve got two canopies for mine. One with a full detailed cockpit and pilot for show/static display. The other is striped and painted black from the inside and that’s my flight version.

Im just getting into rc flying and came across your video, absolutly brilliant, very very imformative and with lots of very good tips. Just couldnt stop watching and subscribed just 20mins in, i'll be picking your brain for more info in future. Keep up the great work 👍

Could you post your Microbeast settings? Cyclic & tail gains, parameter config, throttle curve, parameter settings etc - I'm struggling to get mine locked in like yours, it just feels squirrely

To much head speed create resonance.. hapens to me one time i learn the hard way .. head speed had to be 1700 rpm

I have a HK Harrier that I plan to use two 64mm edf lift fans. A single 70mm fan for forward flight. The lift fans can vector thrust left to right. For up, down, and level hover the fans power are controlled by the flight controller. A similar Harrier had a single vectoring 90mm edf that rotated 90 degrees.
