Yeah, because for beginners, you don’t put it all together. You just do sets of flaps. Then you do sets of shuffles then you do sets of ball change then you do two together that’s like a class. She’s doing intermediate class absolutely not a beginner class definitely not.

This is NOT beginners class because I took tap for 10 years and this is what I was doing when I was like 9 or 10 and I started at 3 and I was good

Is this hard to do if you have a weak lower back. I've just been inspired to try and learn this. Anybody doing this over 65. I am 27 in my mind. ❤❤❤

I'm an absolute beginner. Love the routine, but I'm so confused on what step is next. Wish u would've built the routine first before diving into the music right away.

Boy, do I need to work on balance and shifting my weight. I've never tap danced before, but have always wanted to learn. I'm not too bad when it comes to balancing on my L leg, moving my R foot, but balancing with the R leg is a challenge. I hope I get better with time.

I danced all throughout jr high and high school- 10 years ago, but I am completely new to tap dancing. I took a beginner class a week ago and was so flustered by it I sat in the parking lot crying. I was expecting to learn the basics- instead the teacher was going really fast and changing what we were doing across the floor after every pass. She was choreographing-which is fine- but she casually included a number called the “alexandra” but never explained how to do it- just expected us to know already. I decided not to go back this week and instead found this video on the basics. This has changed my experience completely and it makes me excited again to learn more. Thank you for breaking it down to the very basics!

As a very new tap beginner I love this! It's so informative and great to follow along with the aid of the music. But... could you please edit the dog out. She's a huge distraction for you and for us beginners. She's adorable tho ❤

Thank you for this wonderful class! You're such a great teacher and explain things really well. I found the pacing really helpful and fun. I love your dog's cameos and I think seeing her and laughing at her antics helped loosen me up and dance with more freedom in my body. Thank you and all the best.

holy hell! I just completed all 7 of your beginner tap videos and the speed jump from beginner to advanced beginner feels impossible :( Especially the paraddiles and reversed paras. I think I am going to have to do each of this levels videos several time to try and buildup speed before moving forward. Gotta admit in the first 7 minutes I was so frustrated I was ready to stop

Love your classes...haven't tapped in ten years....the only thing I'd say is in your first video, you had the camera focused on your feet and also faced away...it was easier to see and understand what you were doing.

I’ve been searching tonight for a UA-cam trainer who is somewhere between beginner and intermediate because I think I can catch on quicker than the beginning ones but I still need to be brought through The song in A slower and well explained way. I am subscribing to your channel because this was exactly what I was looking for
