It's kinda sad that with current gear the fight is over before the vocals start. I remember how hyped I got when I heard that the most epic part of the trailer lyrics was in there^^

I still remember when I first got to this... When the screen went black, it was very much a feeling "Ok, let's get the obvious ATB button mash over with." But then The Scions happened which kinda spiked motivation to all new heights.

This is what the "song of hope" part of Footfalls refers to. Sort of an opposition to the song of despair.

her spammed raidwide is called Telo: from Greek Telos meaning end, arguably final Mania: passion, mad desire for, arguably fantasy Thus it could be argued that the Endsinger's spammy Phase 2 raidwide is literally 'Final Fantasy'. Fuck. They did it again. Shit.

Finally, this amazing game is coming to Xbox and can’t to experience this part of the game with my friends one day.

I completed Endwalker with the same group of friends I started A Realm Reborn with. We experienced the journey together from beginning to end and honestly, it made the finale of Endwalker hit even harder with every emotion imaginable. We'd experienced tragedies and hardships in our real life over the years we played. Every time, we overcame. We never gave up on ourselves or each other.

this game actively kept my sanity throughout the pandemic. even though I graduated college, I'd been feeling empty and hopeless for a bit. as I'm here fighting my depression to try to study for a chance at a job, I thought I'd listen to my playlist of FFXIV bangers. big mistake. I'm crying now. (but I'll do my best to keep working hard for a little longer.)

This part is just too good! Master piece! I do re runs cause the whole fight and the music is just amazing good. I remember first time it was hard to focus cause this part got me so hard.

I still come back to this video for the exact moment in this final boss fight where at 1:00 the reaper throws himself off the arena.

Something worth mentioning. The term "Elpis" is the term the ancient Greeks used for what we call "hope." It is mentioned in the story of Pandora's Jar. Endsinger was a masterpiece of a boss fight. A boss fight where the boss isn't the boss.. your the boss.

I remember when me and some buddies did this together for the first time. We were in a call and when the lyrics began we all just screamed "Higher, o Higher" at the same time. It was glorious.

If i may: This song is the embodiment of something i'm going to quote from God of War 2018: "Fine, my turn".

So I sifted through saw people mad cause power of friendship....but lets be real if you all payed attention to ARR this same thing happened and Failed. So here where in life and death exist at same time, were dreams made true a reality in which the ghost of the past walk. With power born from emotions would breed the idea that in Darkest night when all else is lost and you lil lost sheep cant find yourself should light brighten the path and show you that in darkest time, hope can be achieved yet standing alone will not help, so gather the hope of friends, allies, enemies who all seek a common goal of survival only then can there hopes and dreams live on in you so let roar the emotions and scream NOW THAT IN DARKEST TIME WE WILL NOT FAULTER. :3 there does that feel better than crying over power of friend ship.

I can never tank this without going absolutely lunatistical something about this song grabs your emotions. It just makes you scream “For our star” Haurchefant Greystone words just ring in your mind. “ For the ones we have lost, and for the ones we may yet save” Goose bumps everytime. this fight needs to be item level synced now, the bird just dies when the best part of the song starts... that's sad.

Did this as a healer the first time around. First time I saw this phase transition and the part of the song from footfalls starts, I nearly caused a total party wipe from not being able to see my screen though tears. this was beautiful.
