Sir you are awesome! Thank you so much! Saved me at least $200 🫶🏼
I didn't remove the air box. I simply disconnected hose from the throttle body and air box. That's all then replaced the part. If you cannot see the hole. Just remove the throttle body 4 screws and it's really simple and easy.
Thank you, for your hard work
Totally bad video. I don't approve this video. see other videos because this one is no good at all. don't trust this video.
the problem the pad is fighting you at 8:06 to 8:32 you forgot to push the back ear of the shim, that's why you can't put in the pad/.
Hit a bump on the road and mine cracked off this morning on the way to work (2019 Impala LS - 111,000 miles). This should be a recall from GM.
bravo bravo thank you
Thanks for the info
Good man thank you
Great to the point short spot on video. Would have been a 100 if he would have mentioned the 15mm ground down wrench that holds the slide pins to remove the caliper bolts.
Thank u sir
What is the part called fell out my car when driving
Very helpful, thanks 👍🏼
Love the video , going to save me a lot of money.
Great job , that help me to take out my PSP
GM should be ashamed..this same shit happened to me last week on my 2020 impala.. which goes to show they haven’t fixed the issue!! Luckily it’s covered under warranty but the Cat itself has been on back order the last 3 months.. imagine a PoS on backorder..I might be trading in if I run into this issue again before 80-90K miles
What were the signs of a bad purge valve?
At the beginning of the video you can see the lines that attach to that pump what is it called? The line that is yellowish clear I have a hole in mine I wrapped it with electrical tape to hold over
This will not fix the problem
Not the best video?! Its the only vid I've found on this model! Makes it the best
I hope whoever ok’d the design on the Chevy Cruze lost their job immediately
Oh lord thank you ❤❤❤this has been making me crazy for days
This would be more helpful if it included a picture, diagram, or video showing where this part is on the car. So I dont have to do an additional search.
Thanks for sharing this, great help to me.
I know I'm 4 years late, but to whoever is looking at this, you do not need to remove anything from the engine bay, such as a motor mount nor the air box.
Thank you sir!
Thank you for the video sir I’d like to give you the ppl awards and trophy 🏆
You don't have to bleed the breaks
You make it look easy..thanks,gonna do this job tomorrow.
If you get the coolant flushed and your temp gaige goes up past 75% and you have no hot air out the climate system, you have an air bubble. Follow this video!
hello where did u get the new bolt that had been frozen ???
Thank you
Thank you for this information. I just replaced the coolant outlet valve and didn't know this was a air bleed valve. I went through a sequence of running the engine to purge the air.
Is it normal for the solenoid to tick constantly? Or does it indicate any problem? I replaced a new valve and still ticking? Does this indicate a certain problem with the car? It all started when I filled up with gas.... and is it related to the gas cap?
The hamster mobile got me rollin 😂 thank you for your help!
Compression fittings are illegal in Ontario Canada.
Better than every other video and with one hand
Is there 2 sensors ? Or is it just one
Bro thank you after watching about ten dum videos on other guys you explained it very well and got my job done it’s also my first time with electronic breaks so I was like WTH is this shiii lol
Wish u showed the work
Shouldn't the rotors be checked for run-out or cut or replaced? Any torque specs?
Hi I replaced my water pump today also the thermostat, the magnet trick worked great with installing the bolts into the pump without dropping them. I filled with almost a gallon of coolant when I finished I let the car run for about 15 mins the heater is not getting hot. My temperature stayed close to middle of the gauge but no heat? Any tips? Thanks.
Check to see if both of your heater hoses are getting hot. If one is hot and one is cold I would try running the engine at about 2000 rpms to circulate the coolant, it could just be a small air pocket trapped and not allowing the coolant to flow completely.
I just did this to my daughter‘s 2011. I couldn’t get the electric connector off the coils but I was still able to do it. I’ve got a check engine light saying it’s running rich. Air box with boot was a chore.
Great video simple and clear instructions
Is this a bad design or is it techs at a dealership using an air ratchet to put on all bolts without concern for proper torque?
God damn I gotta pull all that out 😂
This happened to my 2016 Impala LT
What side would this one be? I have a 2017 Premier and mine has detached just like in the video, however when I research the part it's coming up that I have 2 (right & left) when I look under the hood I'm only seeing the one , so I want to make sure I purchase the correct one.
There’s another catalytic converter next to the firewall which is bank 1 the one closer to the radiator is bank 2
@@joseavila3847 Thank you
@@joseavila3847so which bank was this that he changed Im having the same issue and I think I ordered the wrong part. Can you help please?
Bank 2 is the problem in the video, however when you order the part it’s called either the driver side or passenger side catalytic converter, in this case it’s the driver side. It sounds confusing but trust me, i would recommend to replace the 02 sensors while you’re at it too ps. My bad for the late reply.
Do you have the part number or where did you buy the part, because i cant find it
please tell me i'm not the only one old enough to remember when headlights came out the FRONT of the car and didn't require any disassembly under the hood to access the bulb???
I thought I could grab a bulb. Come home and just replace it real quick before heading to bed.... Nope... Didn't think I'd have to consider how you change the headlight when getting another car. Whew
