Hi, this playlist is great. Does anyone know how we can get the images they are using in the class?

Can you suggest a method of calculating the area covered by the circles? I tried doing a ratio of the total intenisty divided by a fully white area but because the gray values intensity is less than 255 this method was not accurate. Is there a way to convert the grayscale image to binary and then perfrom this caclulation again?

seems like Lab view program developers allows "application" in "free style" mode (like android model) without sufficient QA monitoring, especially regarding user interface. such produce a result in which it becomes simpler & better to use STD alphanumeric programing

There really should be some basic programming prerequisite for this class. Wasting too much time explaining programming fundamentals like index positions, data types, how a while loop works, etc... Kind of frustrating that we're not covering as much material as we should because we're hung up on programming fundamentals. Still a very helpful series though.

Hey, I'm new user and I'm working with a camera that takes 1 image per minute. The first image is a blank/background. Do you know how I can subtract the background/blank from all the subsequent image following the first, which is the blank.

Have you found a good book you recommend that covers image processing well? I am more interested in a reference that is focused on utilizing the built-in VIs of Labview to process images as you have done in this video and less on connecting the camera to the computer. For example, my needs would be met by dropping images into a folder and becoming proficient with the subsequent capabilities of Labview. For example, utilizing IMAQ and the Vision platform to create custom LUTs and employ built in VIs to convert to CieLab color spaces from RGB and image object tracking. I would prefer the reference explain the reasons for choosing the respective VIs and offer alternative approaches as you have done in this video.
