Willowbrook Mall Walkthrough - Wayne, NJ - March 2024
A walk around the perimeter of Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, NJ on a fairly busy weekday afternoon. Willowbrook Mall opened in 1969 and underwent several changes and renovations over the years. This is what it looks like in March 2024. It is relatively healthy as far as malls go with virtually no vacancies.

Palisades Center Mall Walkthrough - West Nyack, NY - February 2024
Переглядів 2,6 тис.8 місяців тому
A walk around the perimeter of the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack, NY on a slow weeknight. This mall has seen better times and has more than a few vacancies at the moment, but I wouldn't consider it a "dead mall" by any stretch. There are still plenty of shops and restaurants to patronize, including some recently opened ones, as well as a large cinema. 00:00 - entering into the 1st floor 1...

MTA New York City Transit Vintage Bus Ride November 2010
Переглядів 5129 місяців тому
A few video clips I found buried in my "archives" from a vintage bus ride in November 2010. Featured is 1963 Fishbowl 3758 and a few bonus clips of 1956 Old Look 3100. Video quality is not the best, but it was from a "vintage" digital camera in 2010...
Sounds exactly like the New York City Subway R142A/R143/R188
I saw the sign about no idling for more than 3 minutes. Buses use air brakes and the engine powers the pump that charges the high pressure tanks that supply the brake system. Normally, on cold startup, and engine is idled for several minutes to charge the brake system. So, did the people who made the 3 minute rule confirm that brake pressure could be adequately charged in 3 minutes? Otherwise the emissions goals would conflict with passenger safety. Guess which one I think is more important.
I did this line when I worked for DeCamp. It was the 33!!
I don’t see why we don’t mimic the exact routes. I really don’t agree with taking it up into Cedar Grove since the 195 already serves that area
Oh, the nostalgia!
This mall is not the same when i use to go back in 2003
Definitely not but still busy on weekends
This mall changed when all the high end stores left. I used to live in NYC and would take the bus up there from Port Authority. The Apple Store, Banana Republic, The GAP, JCrew and other high end stores left. And also restaurants left as well.
@@allanya74 so true 💯 Im from Connecticut and I was Soo disappointed when I drove all the way up there for this travesty lol
Great Video! Thank you for posting!
Wonderland mall
I have vivid childhood memories of riding 1963 Fishbowls and 1966 Fishbowls with Batwing ads and A/C on what is now the Q32 (MaBSTOA back then) and GMC Old Look buses on the Q60…which ….back then was Green Bus Lines
I didnt even know this mall existed. Its absolutely beautiful and fancy. You did a fantastic job filming it. Thank you for sharing :)
I know exactly who’s driving 😂😂😂
😎😎😎
💪💪💪
The 2nd one looks like a Mack not a GM. by the 4 piece front door. BUT it sounds like a 6-71 Detroit. If my memory is correct the Macks had Power Steering.
Nice ride from New Jersey Transit. I subscribed your channel.
Thanks! Glad you liked it
I used come here, like, all the time in the 90s. My God, its changed!!
Same here! Yes, it has changed quite a bit since the 90's!
Local or express bus
Express
What year is this bus and do they use this bus for special events
This is a Museum NYCTA 1963 GMC 5303 Fishbowl bus #3758!
Last time I did a similar ride NYC - Livingston DeCamp Bus Lines route 77 express - 35+ years ago - nothing much has changed it seems
The 77 still exists, run by Community Coach, but drastically scaled back after Covid, with only a few trips per day.
Great video myfriend
Thank you! 👍
Thank You!
Thank you for watching!
So cool to see!👍
It is a huge place. Very well documented!👍
Thank you! Yes, it is massive!
Always sounds spectacular!👍
Excellent video, subscribed to your channel!👍
Thank you! I am just getting started, so there's much more to come!
@@OhanaTransit-qh3dj that’s great. Looking forward to the upcoming videos!👍
I love the video! I love it when fellow railfans get to experience what I believe many in this area take for granted. I operated these cars for 6 years and I now run the line as an official here. Our oldest car, 3087, will be 79 years old in a couple of months and hopefully will be running for double that in the years to come! FYI, the line is officially called the Mattapan High Speed Line. Again great video and keep up the great work! Oh btw, if you want to see a really cool video, search UA-cam for Mattapan-Ashmont in 360 with a trip/tour operated by yours truly!
❤🤍💚👍👍👍
This was interesting. I'm not from USA, so what city/state is this in, and what does PCC mean?
This is right outside of Boston, MA and considered part of the greater Boston area. This particular line is only a few miles long and connects to the end of the MBTA Red Line at Ashmont. PCC stands for Presidents Conference Committee; the very short history of it is that the presidents of multiple US transit companies got together after World War II to develop a standard type of streetcar or tram that could be used anywhere, and that's how it came to be. There are very few places left in the US where PCC's are used in regular service and this is one of them. It is not a tourist-oriented line like the F line in San Francisco, but it has developed quite the following as these cars are about 70 years old now. Thanks for watching and I hope this explains it!
@@OhanaTransit-qh3dj Thank you for your excellent explanation. I thought those trams looked old. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
**Half of the line is in Boston, half is in the town of Milton.
Has MBTA considered replacement of the PCC cars with a similar articulated being used on the Green Line? If not then why? The PCC that ran on SEPTA Philadelphia have been replaced with new equipment but the old car do come out for historical runs from time to time.
@@Stanf954 I believe I read something about potential replacements in the next order of Green Line cars, but that's still a few years away.
Thank you, and my pleasure!
Круто! Бодрый старичок! Это - про трамвай! Автору видео, браво и большое спасибо!
