Not worth drilling holes into your roof and having the possibility of your roof leaking
Old news
I mean yeah I’m sure they have a lot of benefits but I don’t use them cuz they just look ridiculous and goofy
caring about what you look while backpacking and hiking is not the move imo
So it’s basically just water that looks like sand, because there’s sand in it
pretty much tbh
How do you know if your on taxpayer public land or private land? I would hate to get shot because I accidentally landed in private property.
I use GIA GPS to keep track of public vs private land.
6 person tent $60 in store a couple days ago ~ great deal ~ set it up right away and it’s fantastic!
Looks more like puff mud
Brilliant!
I pay for campsites for safety reasons. I don’t feel safe going alone with my kids in the middle of nowhere. Especially knowing that criminals like to visit blm lands. It’s not animals I fear so much, it’s bad people. Maybe for men it’s safer because they can defend them better than I can. I just don’t want to risk it. So I settle for paying
I feel like paid crowded campgrounds have a higher risk than going into the middle of nowhere where you may run into a few other people.
We get lost sometimes….
You've a link to the chair?
I would want to see a longer video please
Wait they r meant to mark the trail OMGOSH I’m so dumb I’m gonna stop doing that thanks! 😊
Rip shoes :(
People that say they would hike and explore these canyons if the lake was drained have no clue how far they would have to hike. Same people that park as close to a grocery story as they can
I did hike about 25 miles to get to where I was in this. Its definitely not for everyone.
Looks awesome. What is is called and where can I get one?
I have the mummy bag and regular rectangular bag liners by Teton and really like them. I also use the liner in my hammock when I am lounging.
So cute. How old is he?
But it’s ugly as all sin holy cow
1Mil likes on your vid and u mump in
I'm usually a hammock camper, but I used this last year on Kilimanjaro and loved it! I'm taking it on all tent trips. And yes, the lantern is very cool.
bro talk about bucket list hikes!
They definitely are gold in the back country
Never had one but! If you attach the pump then roll the mat from the other end keeping it pressurised. It might work better 🤷🏼♂️
yeah ill give that a go!
Man, sams club has all these same items but cheaper.
I've never tried sams club but with it being walmart i imagine the quality is different.
That seams so handy! Where did you get it?
they have them on amazon, Ive got it linked in my linktree if you check that out.
@@getwanderlost oke thanks!
I bought the Zero Pump newer, thinner version off Indigogo, and it works quieter than my Flextail Tiny.
How do you clean your roof?
Pressure washer or a touchless car wash mostly 🤷♂️
Any roof rack that can't carry a sheet of plywood is toy for bicycle shorts bois!
Nah fam that bag will stink no matter what haha
30feet yall in the middle of no where bro in the backrooms
I live in the backrooms
Truth!
Lmaooooo adorable
Foldit and roll it up to fit in the bag or get a better bag for your tent
Oh I’ve never heard of somebody buying a separate bag for a tent. Is that what you have done in the past?
So dont go in that water ?
Not all quicksand looks the same. And they all have a different density also. Don't be fooled.
stop advertising this pls
Dispersed camping is great as long as people respect the land and leave no trace.
Is this in Utah?
It sure is
Where did you go camping
This was in the Moab area
Need a checklist mate
That would have been the smart move
They were all misses
We got a true palindrome user here.
@@getwanderlostsessin lla erew yeth?
Where is quicksand i wanna find some
Beaches are probably most common but this is in a canyon in the desert southwest
Where exactly? @@getwanderlost
Ok
Where is this?
Deep in canyon country of the US
Does it stay very hot after the four minute wait? Thanks!
Yeah unless its freezing out you're good! Water has a very high heat capacity.
@@getwanderlost thanks!
So beautiful❤❤
Stop showing everyone and their cousin how to get to these places. Make them do their own research. And if you’re not from Utah, stay out of it.
I get it but also it’s public land. If you’re American you have a right to be there. I’ve seen plenty of places destroyed so I do go back and forth on sharing locations. This one is hard enough to get to that I’m not too worried, that and the proximity to another very popular hike.
Love this response because Utah has amazing places to hike and tourists are awful but these videos are super cool. Makes me miss Utah a lot.
❤
Hi
Hi
I’m Searching for something even lighter and need help
At that point you might as well do the pre-made packets that aren't the best but they will get you the caffeine. The bonus for me is I already use this cup to cook my food too.
If safety third what’s first
Not sure I’m allowed to say but fun is #2 😉
Quicksand has something in common with oobleck: you can run on it without sinking! This is because both quicksand and oobleck are non-Newtonian fluids. This means that they get unielding in response to a sudden shock (such as being jumped on), and yet they yield to gentle pressure, such as standing still. Oobleck is a mixture of water and corn starch, by the way.
What about Indiana jones and the crystal skull?
Completely wrong quicksand is not a non Newtonian fluid it’s water locked sand you won’t find quicksand in a desert unless it’s by an oasis or near the ocean
After lighting the lantern turn the globe until that opening is no longer there it is only there to light the Lantern and then one slip you close it I love this little Lantern I use it on all my cans now
This does help but in any sort of real wind it still didn't work for me.
