I joined a group of fellow Voge 300 Rally riders for an off-road journey from Nairobi to Maai Mahiu. We started from Karen, and rode through Dagoretti Forest until we reached the escarpments, then followed Kenya's Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) toward Naivasha.
On this journey, you can enjoy the diverse landscapes of Kenya. We travelled through the lush green forests, bushy hills, and desert-like lowlands. It was a great learning experience as a beginner off-road rider, manoeuvring my motorcycle on different trails including tarmac, soil, pebbles, loose rocks, and sands.
*I had my audio recording device in my bag and the sound from my water bottle was recorded along with the exhaust sound. I learned a lesson to keep them separate!
