    Hi, sorry not to offend you but this is not Chinese style. Curry leaves and Mustard seeds are only used by Indians. This is Malaysian Indian style. Even we Malays don’t use mustard seeds in our cooking but Chinese and us have learnt to use curry leaves thanks to the Tamil people of our country. But thanks for the recipe anyway

    Hi, Went through your video...everything looks positive except few points a) Like any other grain Rice also has vitamins which goes away when after cooking you throw away the water. Instead of that while cooking in any vessal take out the white thing that comes on top which is starch. Diebetic patient should have rice with protein,Fibre, Fats, Pickle to reduce the Glycemic Index of rice. 2) If you are cooking in pressure cooker put the lid after removing the white thing.

    It works I’ve been using chinese celery for blood pressure by eating 3 stalks per day for drastic drop in 3 days but I’m going try the tea I’m from the Caribbean we just call it local celery here it is bitter but potent

    I rinse the rice then cook it separately from my chicken soup so my diabetic mom can have substantial cup of soup. I give more broth and she has a piece of keto toast with it.

If I plan to use the ground cardamom in savoury dishes, do you think adding some coarse salt instead of sugar would have the same effect?

    I question the diabetic part because you have not provided before and after glucose results. Why should we be your guinea pigs? People making these You Tube videos, who don't have diabetes or even prediabetes don't have any business telling us how to make rice diabetic. I've tried a lot of different methods including yours and my glucose still go through the ceiling. But I see you aren't going to take credit for what you say either.

    It is not the rice that make us so sick it's the pesticides and orher things they put in the farmland. Also if you add the black mushrooms from Haiti to the rice its changes its chemistry and won't raise your blood sugar.

    The more water u use for boiling the rice and then strain it , u will get rid of more starch, having it with bean or dal ( legumes) will be more suitable for diabetic. That's my opinion.

    This is not recommended to follow if you are diabetic with insulin resistance! Please try a little only and check glucose levels in 30 minutes. Rice is rice. High glycemic index cant change very much!
