Baofeng DR-1801 programming problem

Baofeng DMR programming problem. I have 2pcs new Baofeng DR-1801 radios. Both have same problem. I'm using DR-1801A6 programming software (ver. 2.0.0.2) from baofeng website. I can read codeplug fine. After modifying it i can upload it to radio. Problem is that nothing happen. Radio not save anything on it's memory. No zones, no channel. There is always "factory codeplug" on radio. CPS not give...

Running against same problem. My friend manages to program these just fine and me with my other firned cannot get programming to stuck. Its always just the factory one.
I have tried with another computer, another programming cable, win10, win11, but nothing helps. Radio is useless.
@@oh6kw We have some of them in working order and they function in Search and Rescue work as well as TYT MD-390s do. Unfortunately this seems to be related to something we are not aware. I have only one baofeng programming cable, but during next week im am running this with all cables/systems/OS variables I can find. Ill let you know if I success. OR find out what does my co-volunteer at Tampere do to these things to get them running
They managed to greatly increase the frequency range of the baofeng DR-1801 with a gimmick, I saw a video on the UA-cam channel in Brazil I think it's pu4bla

Meu irmão tinha uma ratoeira dessa , uma vez pegamos um rato , e na hora que eu fui soltar eu puxei o ferro pra cima , achando que a ratoeira iria abrir , o ferro saiu é ela não abriu , hoje eu sei que tem que abaixar o ferro e puxar para traz , por isso o vídeo tbm tem que ensinar a pessoa abrir a ratoeira .

I have a same cage and caught a rat unfortunately it's tail is stuck outside. The trap is so tight there's no way it can pull its tail inside. But it's alright. That's its punishment for infiltrating. I'll throw it away in evening, I'll let it suffer a bit more

Yep, and the door locker comes down partway preventing the door from being forced open. Then by 2:27 he pulls the tail in & the door fully closes and then the locker fully drops to securely capture him. I love this type trap and have used for many years to catch rats, skunks, and other pests.

I have the same trap and have caught many rats & mice with it. The trigger system did not seem quite sensitive enough so I devised a step-on pedal trigger at the very back of the cage which works with any weight rodent. I particularly like the wire bail which drops in place to securely lock the door. I just drop the whole trap in a bucket of water for about ten minutes and then dispose of the carcass. I am a retired American living in the Philippines and we do seem to have more than our fair share of pests of all types.

Surely you're not complementing the rat's "intelligence" after getting caught...even so, its called survival instincts, not intellect. I've got a trap the same as this one and I caught a rat at work, I had the power whether it lived or died, I told it not to come back and granted it it's life then I let it go and it scuttled away under a pallet in the workshop, I never saw that rat again.
I also let this rat go to forest at few miles from place i catch it.

Lawrence Poblete. Rats are often a huge problem but.. Lets not forget that they have evolved to survive, like everything else. Whilst they do need controlling(when possible), it needs to be done humanely. Animals aren't evil and spiteful in the way that many humans are. Don't mean to try and patronise you, its just my opinion.

used this b4 bought it from a hardware store, very effective. Will only catch large rats, the small ones are not strong to trigger the trap. pour boiling water to kill it, don;t catch and release... you only pass this problem to your neighbours. They are dirty, spread diseases etcc... vermins. kill 'em
