My theory for bethanie is that she is from the earliest version. You can see her in one of the space world demo. Heck, the isle delphino she lives in is from the same trailer. The second theory that goes along whit it is that a bunch of the assets and code were taken from her version and reused in the game final product ((probably by devs who were trying to salvage and reuse whatever they could)). This left her home as an unfinished and broken mess. My third theory is that the monster stomping around in the first episode is 'fire chestnaut' a cut boss

Although I would recommend keeping UA-cam compression in mind, throughout this video whenever text ended up on the very bottom it was usually rendered unreadable by the effects of the distortion and UA-cam's compression. Maybe go a little lighter on the glitch effects in areas you're displaying text next time?

I remember a bloody and glowing eyes mikudayo (another form of chibi miku) slowly walking towards the viewer before stopping then running at the camera then cutting to static. Out of curiosity, is east supposed to be spelled as Est? The reason I ask is that in the video, both forms are Est while West is spelled correctly but in the comments, the first one is east while the other is est. Is that meant to be a clue?

Making a summary based on the videos and hidden messages: Nintendo had this Delfino graphics engine available to develop new games (Super mario suneshine as we can see), putting Johnathan as one of the developers of the graphics engine, as we can see in the first video, but before he joined the project , Nintendo developers were working on the development of Delfino. Evidently in one of the very early stages of development they created this character named Nico (who is seen at the end of the first video). After that they deleted everything to update the system in more powerful versions of Delfino, but in the test of one of the betas they saw Nico again and the head of the project (a still unknown character) gets worried because Nico shouldn't be there. Then we get to the part where Johnathan starts to be part of the project and seeing the first video, we understand that the work is not easy, in fact to calm down Johnathan spends most of his time in the archive, where he will probably have discovered or will discover something related to Dolphin, but at the end of the second video there is talk of hiding a body, that Johnathan killed someone in the throes of excessive work stress or that he was killed because he was about to discover something? The music helps make the vibe more uncomfortable. Seeing the levels in a first person view is cool and creepy. From what I understand, the Mario 64 ai is in Sunshine and has beef with Bethanie (she is the first creation of the Delphino ai). An interesting word used in these videos is sundowning. The word means to be confused and disoriented during the afternoon and night. It seems like John is going through a sundowning.

The visuals remind me of The Walten Files. Delfino without the sky is nostalgic and ominous. The beta humans being part of the ai makes sense. A creation being mad at its creator is a fun idea a lot of the time.
