Made this recipe following your directions. I did add Benzoin oil as it is in original LUSH recipe and added rose absolute oil too cause I thought it would add something special :)) when I applied rose water Trader Joe's Brand I sprayed 30 sprays instead of drops as no way to drop it in. I also bought little 1 ml samples from Eden Botanicals of all the essential oils and covered opening of tiny vials with small pieces of Saran warp and used a sewing pin to pop a small hole, then used that to shake drops out, thankfully worked fine ! Recipe came out perfect , and no need for me to add more glycerine or rose water. For future batches and since I love recipe so much I'll get a Pipette to drop oils in. Thank you for sharing this DIY!

I tried this pattern and with the bottoms the waist was a touch to big but when measuring the elastic it was way smaller than the waist of the bottoms despite measuring to make sure they would fit …

I wonder if you could substitute honey for the golden syrup? Also we can't get treacle in the states, any advice about how to make molasses work for this recipe? Edit to add- I did find treacle on Amazon, however I quite like the flavor of molasses so I may just keep it at that.
