Why NO+ contains positive charge on only oxygen atom but not on N atom,while on donating lone pair of electron by O atom to N atom should have created negative charge too on N atom but as we know in nitrosonium ion only O atom bear + charge but not N atom......then let me want to tell you that on double bonding between N and O atom N atom contains 7 electron and O atom had completed its octet,so now when O atom will donate lone pair and forms triple bond as coordinate bond then O atom bears +ve charge while N bears -ve charge and on being 9 electrons in N valence shell N atom also will contain +ve charge so net charge on N atom will be the sum of -ve charge by getting lone pair and presence of 1+ve charge due to 9 electrons will camcel out each other.....so ultimately in nitrosonium ion only O atom will contain +ve charge due donation of lone pair or due to keeping one more bond with O atom and the overall molecule will be represented as NO+ ion...... [NO+ = Nitrosonium ion NO- = hyponitrite ion NO or NO bearing one unpaired electron = Nitrosyl or Nitrosyl free radical]......

Mam whatever you told is correct but how nitrosyl could be called as neutral ligand because in K3[Fe(CN)5(NO)] nitrosyl oxidation state is assumed as 0,that is why Fe shows +2 oxidation state,but NO could be either +NO or -NO then how in above complex it is considered 0 oxidation state.......and also one more doubt how nitrosonium ion could form because if (O) will give lone pair to nitrogen then N will contain 9 electrons in its octet while forming tripple bond between nitrogen and oxygen atom.....please explain neutral niyrosyl (NO) structure........
