Hello 2 weeks ago I took the same flight you . But a lot of things have changed as shown in your video . Now is 787-10 instead of A350. The Korea flights of SQ is now shifted to Terminal 2 . 7:59 The centre runway which is in Terminal 2 open already .

Very good review there. I flew the SQ A359 (Medium Haul) from SIN to CAN and the entertainment system was outstanding. The in flight map was excellent and had innovative features including displaying the tail rego, flight number, date of flight, bearing. As well you can zoom in through nearest cities and find some other information (population, elevation, distance from flight). In addition to this, you can also view from various angles. In addition to this, you can watch a movie/TV show/listen to music simultaneously when looking at the flight path. Downs: unfortunately the Medium Haul A359 does not contain the live TV. Only the long haul and ultra long haul A350-900 has live TV. Fun fact: the medium haul A350 uses the Thales Avant Up entertainment, while the A350 LH and ULh has the Panasonic avionics system.

I took the SQ 78X from Perth to Singapore. The Economy Class seats were 17.5 inches wide. I also took the SQ A359 (Medium Haul) from SIN-CAN. They have a 18 inches seat width in economy. Personally, the A359 is better than 78X. What I do like the a359 was that it has the innovative in flight entertainment system where you can display the latitude and longitude, time of flight, date of flight no, flight no, bearing, tail registration, as well as the population and elevation of nearest cities. However there’s no live tv in a350 medium haul.

787 economy seats are narrow for long-haul.

I took the flight last week with SQ A350 from singapore to Seoul. The economy class seat is terible, not good for 6.30 hours flight. Returning from Seoul to Singapura with Asiana (codeshare with SQ), a much better economy class seat.

Took both before... I personally feel the A350 is a much more comfortable aircraft.

I will be taking the same flight from Seoul to Singapore next January when I visit Singapore. I look forward to the experience as the one you had from your trip. I prefer the A350 over the Dreamliners.

Absolutely awful. For the extra cost we got nothing extra. Epic fail Singapore Airlines we won't be using you again. Air NZ runs rings around you perhaps you can learn something from them
