I put everything in the elevator then sent it down it then said sell I pressed that and didn’t receive any money I then went to the place to sell the cargo on orison but there’s no option to sell my cargo what do I do

Tryed this like a month ago, dropped 600+ of cm out the back elevator. Once I exited all but 200 disappeared. Waste of time. I will stick to rmc in the vulture for now.

Just close Exterior doors and box will fall.
When I try to do missions like these in the Crusader system, there are turrets that fire when you get too close to the bunker. So some different areas don't have the turrets?
Sometimes you find them, sometimes you don't. I don't know if it's a bug or just someone that has done the same mission before
Salvage and cargo running is just not worth it imo.
Just a quick FYI - This data doesn't work on the PTU atm. ARC-4 does not sell RMC. :(

That's true, you can sell Maze at CRU-L4, CRU-L5 and Grim Hex... But if you go to a scrapyard you can sell all at once
Everyone knew the capabilities of the contraband missions - issue is that they have always been broken. Its probably worth looking into, if they are working now. Im not sure if it is possible, it might be; - Take a couple of 4scu or 8scu boxes - when in bunker; pick up and put into the boxes (maybe you need to do this outside or at the door depending on the size) When you take the boxes to sell, it means you only need to take 1 or 2 boxes instead of a few

That's strange! Did you repair your ship before beginning the unloading process? There's another signal that the ship is close to explode: sparks everywhere! When you see sparks go straight to the main deck and repair the ship.

Lucky find! .... all that the game has done is punish me this patch! I did find 32 scu of weevil eggs but had the cargo hold shot out of the aquila by 2 connies that came from nowhere while trying to work out why the QT didnt spool...
How do you adjust what size the boxes are
You can select the size when you create them in the salvage processing room. Sizes available are 1-2-4-8-16 SCU. Bear in mind that once you created them there's no way to split or combine boxes in order to change their size right now.

I think they nerfed auto-unload to sell ATLS's. Used to work until not long ago...
The design of the reclaimer is really a kind of industrial art, just like the atmosphere in the movie "Alien", I really like it.❤
I did this with 1706 scu lmao . The poop shoot actually isn’t too bad to unload once you get the hang of it . Really wish the auto unload would work though cause man it’s tedious if you don’t have a buddy with you
CIG just needs to remove the elevator and just make it a hatch
I'd be curious to know how much time it took to 1. Gather, 2. Process (boxing and arranging on ship) 3. Off-loading all cargo. Total time. And a closest guess would be enough.
Keep in mind that I have done everything solo: 4-5 hours -> salvaging, scraping, breaking ships, looting cargo, arranging boxes in the ship (I did a lot of scraping for RMC and in 3.24.1 is sloooow with the Reclaimer. Consider doing only CM, which is a much faster way to fill the ship and make money) 2 minutes -> unload cargo 11 minutes -> unload existing boxes in salvage processing 5 minutes -> unload remaining boxes from filler stations 14 minutes -> place the boxes over the freight elevator TOTAL TIME: 5-6 hours
@@fabioponta88 Thanks! I was solo running a Reclaimer for a while until just after they restricted the Hammerhead mission to once a day. Wasn't making much money after that. When I saw all the extra time that was added after all physicalized cargo and cargo elevators were added, I got really discouraged. That seemed like a lot of money for the amount of work, but I'm just not quite convinced yet. I'll have to try it out when I come back from my hiatus from the game. Thanks for the info.
Have you tried pickersfield or rappel on hurston they sell RMC aswell an unlimited supply.

4scu containers are best choise. Also I recommend to use ATLS and place ATLS on edge of rear elevator. So, you can pull container by ATLS and insta-drop in rear hole. As a result you have big pile of boxes under tail of Recl. So all of you need is another ATLS near elevator to pull boxes from pile and push in elevator. It works very-very fast, easy than unload c2 as example
I’m surprised your ship didn’t explode.
I have done this process five times and it never happened. Maybe the reason is that i check the status, and, if it has damage, repair it before starting to move boxes.
Reclaimer seriously needs a rework ... it's so obvious that the ship was designed before physicalization was even a thought in the devs mind.
put the back from the Reclaimer over the elevator tilt the ship forward self destruct and leave ship cargo wil drop out of ship when it breaks

Had no idea there was a back end unloading spot, i have just been sticking vehicles , container boxes and spare guns in the salvage hold and putting 8scu and 2scu boxes on the grids letting the ship auto unload while i grabbed another reclaimer. one time i tried 16scu boxes they barely fit through the salavage hold or the elevator and was a huge pain.
I never knew that the rear elevator was there!
so, the crates are just phasing through the floor? The hole is not big enough for a 16 SCU to fit through...
It isn't, but the crates will go through anyway :)
If that is how you leave your Creates, then no wonder you can't use the Automatic Unload. Put your Creates on the Cargo grid so the system can see it
Unfortunately before this I tried placing all the cargo in the grid, but i still got the “cargo removal failed” message. So after that I filled the ship with all those boxes 😅
It's been working ok for me all patch cycle. Even leaving some boxes loose outside the grid. I generally fill up my depot then land where I'm going to sell (Grim Hex is easiest), unload the depot and stack as much as I can, sell it, unload depot until it's empty and repeat. I really don't see the point of staying out unless you are only doing construction materials and need the volume. An hour can easily net you a million and as you won't have any cargo to show up in a scan, no one will be bothered to pirate you.
Never seen a 16scu box fit through that aft chute before. Usually would just stack ontop of each other below the salvage processing and not fall out of the ship like that.

Thought of this as well, in a different way. The automatic cargo sell does work but only cargo that is attached to the grids. Cargo salvage grid does not work at all now 🤪Once you have sold the initial crates attached to cargo reclamation grid and cargo grid (size 8 in there) just reattach the other contains around and go back to sell and repeat. Just saves all that moving and stacking. I know you can say you go backwards and forwards but I just prefer it incase you get a glitch. I keep it to just two large ships salvaging per run, until they hopefully fix the grid issue 😅😅😅
I also tried to attach boxes only to the grid. Looted cargo on cargo hold and salvaged cargo in the 4 grids in salvage processing deck... I still had the "cargo removal failed" error.

For me the physicalized cargo has ruined the game. I was playing it for years exclusively. But since 3.24 haven’t touched it much. I tried the new system but find it boring and tedious. If CIG does not improve it, I wonder if I will enjoy SC ever again. 😢
Lmao physicalised inventory/cargo was always planned, so it's on YOU for not doing your research. Besides, eventually NPCs will be able to do it for you for a fee, so stop whining

Haha true! But I also tested the automatic unload with all the boxes placed on the grid and it didn't work either... So you have to use this process anyway
Great tip! I had no idea that elevator existed, let alone opened to the outside. I ran my Reclaimer once since 3.24 was released, it took so long to unload that I haven't bothered since.

To be fair, the Reclaimer is old. Very old. It was designed and released well before the modern metrics for ships was developed.
No, it means SC is an alpha and that things constantly develop with changing priorities... eventually older ships get looked at and fixed, this isn't some conspiracy
Yeaah, reclaimer itself is a flying brick of osha violations. and basic commonsense. one of my friends who works in large sea going vessels. had a like 2 hour rant about how fucking videogame ship the reclaimer was and that kind of design would not be made because its too dangerous. mostly he refered to the over reliance on the elevator. and that the read door was way too small. the doors and cargo/Salvage holds should be big enough that they can fit 32scu containers. just because it just makes sense that large vessel like that would use them in reality. if you think about that its a sea going vessel and it has a scrap filling stations would fill them in large containers as possible and it would be made as easy as possible, no sane person would ever make doorways just barely big enough to fit a half of a container. and i agree with this the reclaimer suffers badly from videogameITIS and needs a rework BADLY its cargo and salvage decks need some rework but mostly the doors and the elevators AND it desperately needs away to accase all levels without the elevator access. because in real life you WOULD NEVER USE THE FUCKING ELEVATOR IN A EMERGENCY SITSUATION BECAUSE THEY CAN GET STUCK or worse. immersion is this games saving grace and franky reclaimer is the least immersive ship in the game.
Its hilarious to me that we now have to park ships the wrong way on the platforms. CIG spend all this time making this look nice but absolutely user unfriendly
if you get in the pilot seat and thrust up and down with spacebar and crtl without lifting off the ground, it will "wiggle" the ship and they will fall out. no need to store.
They need to remove that clip on the interior elevator.
