Make a Burrito Method Pillowcase
Переглядів 684 місяці тому
Making a Burrito method pillowcase is a pleasure. The seams are all enclosed so the fabric doesn't fray and there is no need to finish the seams with a zig zag stitch. Place the pillowcase cuff fabric right side up and place the pillowcase body fabric right side down on the cuff matching raw edges. (if you use an accent strip, place it first then the pillowcase body fabric). Pin or stitch in pl...

Faster Quarter Square Triangles

I tend to talk quietly so turn up your volume. Fabric pressed and spritzed with Best Press. Making and using half square triangles makes it easier to piece quarter square triangles. Add 1 1/2" to what you want the quarter square triangle to be finished. (gives you a little wiggle room) In my case finished size is 4", so I cut my squares 5 1/2". Make half square triangles first, do not trim! Lay...

Gi e us a few days and we can make a video
Really wish i could have seen what/how you increased your bobbin tension... I know i need a screwdriver, but my luck tells me I'll do it wrong and break something.
Wow!! Love the colors. Keep us posted on your progress. ❤❤❤
That’s gonna be beautiful!!! Love it so far!
Because you have a “D” foot you need to engage the dual feed in order to get a perfect stitch. You will find your stitches will be more uniform with that style of foot
Because i am pulling or pushing the fabric to distort the stitches i do not engage the duel feed.
@ makes sense 👍🏼
My spring does not spring back
Hi, Lydia! Hi, Thor!
Hi Emi!
Lemon pepper !!!!! Beautiful
It's riveting!
Hi Lydia and Jacqui!
A culpa é do Bolsonaro aquele CZÃO 🐔
I appreciate seeing how you squared up this quilt.
All is not lost just because it's not quite square.
Hi, Lydia. I did not know you had a YT channel! Nice job! Thor needs to set up a camera rig for you.
Hi Emi!, yes a good set up would really help.

Tape measures stretch over time so i wouldn't trust it completely.
Our acrylic rulers are much more accurate overall. If you need to use a tape measure, use one made of fiberglass.
When will we be able to purchase
They are already on the website! Also available in store.
I love Stonehendge... yummy....
Me too!
I had my phone turned up a few times and it was still difficult to hear.
Sorry about that, I tend to talk too softly. I'll be doing another in the next 2 months.

As a new quilter (at 70 years old) I’m happy know I can hide my flubs
Woow!😍😍😍😍😍
Right!? ! I ended up taking the sashing between blocks out 1 at a time and cutting to the correct size and resewing the block back on.
Oh noooo!
Oh my gawd! Kate, you are a color genius. Time for me to consider what I “need”😂
Love the quilt. What is the pattern please.
This is Matariki by Shelia Christianson

Bernina has a 1/4" foot ,#37
Love that foot! If only everyone had a Bernina!
Thank you for this. This has been my go to method and always felt it was sneaky cheating! Good to know I'm not the only one! Its a beautiful quilt, I'd love to know the name of the pattern!
You're welcome! The pattern is 'Matariki' by Shelia Christensen. (www.quiltwithsheila.com)
I am so old I use a slip stitch. Terribly handicapped. I have never been able to do a quilter’s knot. But my quilts don’t go to shows. Very nice binding!
Thanks! I think this is a modified slip stitch, a little sideways (:
Helpful tips. Thank you!
Subscribed!😊
Thank you!
Thank you for this. Sometimes we think we are the only ones with such inconsistent measurements.
So true!
I didn't realize that needles had a groove along the length to carry the thread!
Right, that's why thread and needle size are so important.
No horrible noises allowed!☺️
I like how you show several reference points for keeping your cuts appearing straight.
