What about our Constitutional Right to a Speedy Trial? Surely any number of non-profit Justice Organizations would have a Hay-Day with the abuse of Kevin's Rights, wouldn't they? It sounds like every right was denied and abused.., which are felonies in themselves; Title 42... Denial of a Citizen's Rights under Cover of Law... Punishable by imprisonment up to and including Life Imprisonment without the possibility of Parole. 🤔 Not a word.

As a long time Olympic track watcher this was an interesting 4x100. I would never dream Italy would win and China would win bronze and U.S. not medal. It would be like China not medaling in table tennis and U.S. winning gold.

The first part is wrong. The bus driver didn’t tell him to raid the dumpster. The driver told him where to get the punch. Kevin came up with the idea of raiding the dumpster himself. Read his books before you make videos like this please.

The word hacker is a derogatory term meant to belittle the poor.

I was part of the Free Kevin movement - even sneaking up two yellow and black "Free Kevin" stickers on top of some AXE10 racks in one of the switch rooms at work since I was working as a telco dev! Few understood what they meant so they stayed up for several years... Hehe. If only they knew ;) I later transitioned to IT security (in telco, later UNIX anything) since I'd prior been a hacker for many years before getting employed in this business, but I stopped hacking public servers as soon as I begun working there since an earlier friend in the same scene got arrested and nobody would hire him after that - and still to this day he gets fired from every job as soon as they discover his past doings, but to be fair he stole and used credit cards whereas the rest of us only hacked because we wanted to see if we could do it - and without any trace! That was the real challenge! We used to leave a string in some obscure file only so we could claim we did it; like "Kilroy was here..." type of message. ;) For years I used a callback number so I could get free internet from home in the early 90's by hacking a SUN server at a local university that had access to a couple modems. Just dialed and entered a specific string as soon as it had connected with ATDT, hung up and then I got called back by the server. One could argue that this was a bit more malicious than just hacking for fun - but the university had a flat rate fee for their modems so my callback hack didn't cost a penny! Otherwise I wouldn't have used it. Probably one of my best hacks - and too long ago for someone to get me for it but I kept quiet about it for many years since I didn't want to end up like Kevin did... I admired him and his endeavours but he also showed us what not to do because they really wanted to get him bad - and back then there weren't really any laws about hacking, cracking and social engineering in order to gain entry etc etc, and that's why they kept him for years without trial because they didn't have the laws to get him for what they believed he'd done! I started working as a telco dev and I loved the job so I kept a low profile and stopped hacking systems and instead begun looking at various embedded devices because that's pretty much impossible to get done for!!! ;) Today I'm retired after an accident with a spinal injury but I still hack and crack every obscure device I find because it's still fun and it keeps the brain busy whilst being mostly in bed 24/7... It's amazing still how utterly bad the embedded devices are that are made today?! They think that just because it hasn't got an open interface somewhere they don't have to apply any type of security... sigh. It usually only takes a couple hours - if that - to gain serial access via JTAG. Just solder on some wires in case there isn't a connector on the pcb, and now you start to explore how to dump data etc? EPROMS can be dumped manually by simply reading the chip, and if there are some security layers they are usually dated and poor - because all devices/products are built to cost and added security and extensive testing costs money and they think that by having no external interface they're sorted! The very vast majority of us only do it for fun but also to raise awareness because some devices can be used for malicious activities and thus we help to stop that. This wasn't always appreciated but slowly companies understood that we did something they hadn't managed to do so they started paying out bounties for security flaws - the more severe the more money they pay, but I've so far never taken any money for the hacks I've done because I don't want to see it as a job - I simply do it for fun and to keep busy, and I purposely hack more obscure devices which wouldn't pay any big money like bank services or anything with money transactions... I've done all that and it's boring, but an electricity meter, satellite data or why not a car via front light CANbus? That's way more fun! Anyhow, rest in peace Kevin! Sadly never met him in person although we apparently had been in the same place a couple times... The movie about Kevin which was mentioned in this video turned out to be more of a homage to Kevin than to smear him, or make things worse for him - and the story is as valid today as back then because although security is much better today - social engineering is still running on v1.0 (if that... :P) and people are still on a daily basis conned to give out their pin codes and various passwords to their online banks etc... I guess people can't be patched and most are oblivious to how easy it is to trick them, so please help by talking to people and inform them on how to behave when Mr. so-and-so calls from your "bank" and need your information in order to issue a totally bogus "refund" to your account because a) that'll never happen and b) what are the odds? Right... Stay safe, be kind and never trust anything and/or anyone!

No disrespect or any kind of hate towards the channel owner but the Video editing sucks, those blank screen were so frustrating i thought it was something to do with my phone or internet connectivity issue but the video itself was like that. you should not put random black screens between the video it sucks, really😑 never do it again (if you really care)

video quite a character ----- years ago knew young guy, who had done a few months in prison for attempting to hack an asian bank - I was a university teacher - lad was clever, hyperactive really - asked 'ujdksjjhg' did it not occur to you, that if you hadn't committed a crime, you could have earnt money doing that - he then explained, how he got past various layers of system security over a few weeks - but couldn't resist going back for another go - and got caught inevitably - asked why do it ? ----- ''because he was bored with his family at home' ..... that was dubai - where this type of behaviour is frowned upon of course ..... what a mad world .....
