It's the key line that tells you the chronology. It shows that all the events when he takes Mia out take place the following evening, and therefore the earliest Butch wins the boxing match and goes on the run is the following evening.

He must buy it in the afternoon of the first day (ie the day of all the events of the restaurant hold up etc) or during the day of the second day, ie the day he takes Mia out.

It’s widely believed that he was at Butch’s apartment with Vince cuz he personally was hoping to see Butch killed for himself. During that time, he went and bought coffee and donuts for himself and Vince. That could also explain why Vince didn’t seem startled when Butch was walking around in the apartment, cuz he probably just thought that Marcellus had returned from the donut shop.

You mean Vincent when he comes out of the bathroom? I think it was accidental. The toaster popped up and made him jump and he pulled the trigger. (Although he didn't look like he cared too much once he was dead!)

I think he means Floyd Wilson, the other boxer. Otherwise he would've said Vincent especially if he's seen the movie... He accidentally killed Floyd. He made bets with his friend Scottie on himself, going against the request of Marsellus Wallace to throw the fight. And now he's on the run from Wallace, because he knows he has the man-power to hunt him down for not throwing the fight. And if you mean why did he kill Vincent? Well for one he knows Vincent works for Wallace and also Vincent was rude to him at the club. If he didn't kill Vincent right then and there, it would've been Vincent trying to kill Butch. He had to do what he had to do. But as for killing the other boxer, it was completely an accident. He boxed as hard as he could so he would be guaranteed the win. The boxer just succumbed to his wounds, which can happen to anyone who gets punched in the head and is bleeding enough.....

After they leave the diner they go to see Marcellus at his club, to drop off the case. Paul the barman says to Vincent that he hears that he is taking Mia out tomorrow. Vince either goes to buy drugs from Lance that afternoon, or the following day, but it's almost certainly the next day, as when he buys the drugs from Lance he is wearing a special necktie (ie what he's wearing on the 'date' with Mia) and when Lance asks him if he wants to hang around he says he has to be "some place" (in fact the script says "I'm on my way somewhere, I got a dinner engagement"). He then takes the drugs at Lance's place, and drives straight to Mia's.

That should actually be the first scene. The watch scene is a dream that Butch is having just before the fight so it belongs further along in the movie

Yes it was. Vincent buys the heroin and puts the baggie in his coat pocket. Mia finds it later and mistakes it for cocaine then he takes her to Lance's house for the adrenaline shot scene. By the way, I have always just assumed that the "watch" scene was a dream that Butch was having. I could be wrong.

you realize it would only take maybe 10 minutes to edit the movie in chronological order right? you just divide the movie into the 3 parts and instead of going 123 it would go 132...so thats like 1 minute of your time and then all you have to do is take the original opening little diner scene and move that to where it needs to go. blam you got the movie in chronological order in under 10 minutes of "editing". and if you really wanted to take the flashback at the start of "2" and bring that to the very beginning of the edit.(I dont consider that chronological though because even though it happened when butch was a kid so obviously wayyy before anything else, it was a FLASHBACK of the dream right before he wakes up. He didnt have the dream before everything else. the contents of the dream may have taken place before everything else but him having the dream didnt. so i really dont get why this guy and other people put that at the beginning. it really is not needed at all.) but if you really wanted to do that too, all your doing is cutting the movie into 5 parts and arranging them in order.

Vincent was the one that was sent to Butch's apartment. Since Butch's girlfriend forgot the golden watch that Butch got from his dad, he went back to his apartment to get it. Then the scene plays out where he kills Vincent.
