Today i am showing you a beautiful wall art or wall decor which is a fusion of two art forms of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Here in this video i am making a Jharokha mirror, an art of Rajasthan with a design of lippan kaam, an art of Gujarat. If we visit the popular cities of Rajasthan like jaipur, jhodhpur, udaipur, jaisalmer, we can experience these Jharokha style mirrors, doors and windows in their palaces. jharokha style home decors, mirrors, shelves are also available in their local markets. whereas Lippan art is an Indian Folk art which is also called Mud and mirror art. This art comes from Kutch, Gujarat. so in this video, i have created a fusion of these two art forms.
This is the sixth video of my Lippan Art series. In this video you will learn how to make this beautiful jharokha wall mirror in Lippan Art look using clay. the finished project looks very expensive but actually it is made in a very cost effective manner. it is also very light in weight. I have tried to make this video as easy as possible.
