OMG. This is amazing. My first-ish job was supporting a 64K/proc CM2. I still tell stories about that thing - ask me about it if you like. There was and still sort of is nothing like it although I think the GPU world is getting it.

Once curiosity got the better of me and I rang the doorbell of the Luck Ngi Music Club. A woman opened the door (It's irrational, but I confess I was surprised), and after I explained that I was just intensely curious about what the purpose of the building was, she invited me to come back to see one of their rehearsals in the near future. Then COVID happened and I was not able to go back - but I'm so glad we have this video to satisfy my curiosity which I've harbored for many years.

Democrats love to play the discrimination card. I'm an immigrant from China and I found that I've been treated way better here than in China. I'm grateful that I was able to leave the country that's under controlled by the CCP.

This machine really shouldn't have existed during it's time given what we know about Cray Research Inc. but these people actually did anyway despite having to go up against the Cray`s. It amazing that just like how Seymour Cray created a computer after designing the principles in a notebook these guys were able to do that too with a math paper from MIT.

I am sympathetic to the story, but the acting was so bad and the script so awkward, it was very hard to watch. It's a story worth portraying in a film, but with a cast, director, and production that does justice to the sacrifice and achievements of the 19th-century Chinese immigrants.

Tamiko tells it like it is! The video is missing the main element of the cm, the internal organizational architecture around a multidimensional cube. It's visible in some of the sketches.

This was amazing. I watched a video that in its source credits linked this Wing Luke Museum video and I'm so glad I watched. Really interesting and I'm very happy that Tamiko Thiel is getting recognition in the here now.
