I have never been on twitter so I have only heard references to these hate comments and, until now, never actually seen them. I guess I must sound like an echo, but people who makes such comments are very insecure in their own identities and are triggered by fear of their own inadequacies. Such people are deeply troubled, and have missed out on the love and care and respect people should have in their lives so that they don’t feel any need to attack others for perceived differences. I am appalled that people actually identify themselves so that everyone knows how miserable their lives must be that they have to lash out like this. Real ARMY love and respect ALL members, and have their biases, but would NEVER attack another member. And solo stans can have their one favorite member. There’s nothing wrong with that. But, once a person becomes a bully, he or she needs to seek help immediately to uncover deeply rooted shame or inferiority issues and heal. BTS message to “ love yourself first so you can love others” is the real deal. These poor haters deserve our sympathy because they clearly at this point in their lives are incapable of loving themselves. I think the appropriate message is “Please seek professional help to learn to love yourself so you don’t have to attack others.”

I appreciate the sentiment but people writing such inane nasty trash about a talented and caring person don’t deserve any more of a platform or screen time than what they’ve managed to get on social media. Really they don’t even deserve that. I think we need to remember that Jimin is one of the most popular members of BTS. Jimin gets a lot of hate too for sure but that’s because he pushes boundaries and small minded people can’t handle it. That’s their problem.
