​@@jackkyle2262It's been awhile since I took this thing apart but do remember it was pretty easy to get apart. I believe that whole front barrel piece is just held on by a post that it slides up off of, but could be wrong on that. It does come off as a complete piece though, I do know that. If you have the shell apart it should slide up and off, if you're having issues getting it apart make sure you didn't miss any screws.

​@@jackkyle2262Actually I just took a quick look and it looks like is kinda clipped in on that piece that sticks out from the cylinder. Be careful with that piece If you open it to get the cylinder out cause I remember there is a spring in there

I couldn't give you an opinion on that one cause I don't currently have anything set up to hit 300fps but it works just fine between 230fps-250fps. There are higher fps games out there, especially now with all the higher power stuff coming out, but Like you said, not many 300fps games although they do exist. Usually higher fps are outdoor settings for sure. If you have a blaster tuned to that level, I'd recommend getting a higher quality metal body BCAR which there are plenty of options of out there cause why would you want a cheap BCAR on a monster blaster. Just my opinion, but again I cannot confirm nor deny the performance of this BCAR at those fps levels. I can say it is a phenomenal option for 250fps or less from my personal testing and I highly recommend it!

I opened her up already and tried to beef up the spring and that didn't go to well. Catch was a bit different from what I've seen before but definitely couldn't take the extra stress. So instead, I noticed the O-ring was quite loose so I put some Teflon tape underneath, lubed it up and was getting a really good seal. Wouldn't you know it, FPS went down! 🤣 Still got some tinkering to do but you're not missing much if you don't run out to buy N-Series. This little guy is the smallest investment to check it out for yourself though.

I'm looking at this exactly how I should be looking at it, through the eyes of a consumer. Kids want toys that work! If their friend has a better performing blaster, they are going to want that. Plain and simple. The dart hits just as hard, flys just as far, (when it flys straight) and does everything the old dart did. So where's the claimed improvement?? They had a Junior line and scrapped it. These are not junior blasters. When it's claiming extreme distance and accuracy on the box, what do you expect? Don't make false claims. Hasbro has every right to try and make as much money as possible, they owe it to their shareholders to do just that. I've been around this hobby and these blasters since the beginning, so I've seen the evolution and I welcome change when it's a move forward. This however is a lateral move at best. The blasters are well built and do hit a touch harder. However, nothing I've seen justifies the dart change except money. It doesn't move anything forward from the elite dart except parents have no other choice than to buy Nerf branded darts now, and that was exactly what they wanted. Everything else is the same. There is no reason they couldn't have come out with these same blasters, at the same price point, with the same performance and a better elite dart. That wouldn't have made the same money as they are hoping this will unless their dart was better and cheaper than the competition. They didn't want to go that route and took the path of least resistance. I have no problem with that but will call em out on it every time. That being said, I and everyone else in the hobby will perfect their product for them.

You're not going to get any argument from me on that one. I completely agree. After more testing, they are a lot less durable too!

More like lowering expectations is a better way to put it. We know these Blasters are never gonna be on the Dart Zone level, so it's pointless to expect them to be. That doesn't mean I'm gonna go easy on them, it just means I'm trying to find the good in bad and see these specific Blasters through the eyes of an 8 year old. The blasters are very solid though. No corners cut in terms of build quality. The darts just aren't very much better than Elite. I love the innovation, however it's not good enough to justify a ammo change. Should have just perfected the Elite dart IMO. Luckily there were pictures just posted of Nerf's upcoming Pro Line and they look really good, are short dart only, and are priced quite reasonably. Looking forward to those but as far as N-Series goes, just another sub-par gimmick even though they do perform a bit better. At least they are well constructed, and the kids will like them. (As long as the don't lose their new precious darts) 😁

Agreed! Its definitely worth 5 bucks! Wish it came with more than 2 darts since odds are you won't have any of these new ones, but still worth the money to see what N-Series is all about. It performs great too!

Your not going to get any argument from me about Elite 2.0. That whole line was a lot of crap with a few really good outlier's sprinkled in here and there. These N-Series Blasters are better, but not enough to justify the dart change IMO.

They didn't just abandon Elite, they abandoned all the parents and kids who have accumulated tons of the crappy darts over the years, but at least with those darts we had options. I have no problem with a dart change (I actually liked Ultra) but even Ultra was an offshoot. If it's a full on replacement like these, make it something special and night and day better from what it's replacing. Then I'd welcome it with open arms! 😁

@@Apocalypsejunkiesxtreme same here ultra is one of those series where its a hit or miss some I really liked and others I just never saw the need for it, and the darts were pretty good and i wish that elite darts were as dense as the ultra darts were

I just don't understand why Hasbro couldn't have just perfected the elite dart and came out with cool Blasters like the N-Series to go along with them, not a complete lateral change. Hasbro intend to continue to make a separate line of "Pro" blasters for older Nerfers and hobbyists, based on a different dart to the N series. They're are a business, manufacturing and selling toys... and their products need to make money. Nerf has been around a long time, so Hasbro know who the majority of their end users are. They're mainly kids. Adults and hobbyists want different things from Nerf, but they only constitute a fairly small percentage of the total market... and it's already crowded. Hasbro have also been responsible for creating the standard dart sizes in the past, and everyone else copied them, so why is this new dart any different?

​​@@another3997 We all know Hasbro is in it to make money, hence the dart change. This is different because it is another horrible dart that is inferior to the competition that is already out there. So none of the competition is going to want anything to do with these new darts. Its also a kick in the face of all the parents out there that already have hundreds, if not thousands of original Elite style darts. Hasbro was just sick of selling a blaster and having people buy darts to use with those blasters from the competition. Solution, make a new dart that no one has and then they have to buy from us. You're right, it's a business and it's plain to see. The new pro line is a step in the right direction since I think you are way undervaluing the 14 and up market. Its a much bigger market than you know. I've also heard the "these are kids toys" BS excuse many times and that is correct, it says 8 and up on the box, but that's not an excuse for making a crappy, sub-par product. Kids still want a blaster that works well and can hopefully hit what they are aiming at, if not, what's the point. My son is 9 years old and when he walks into my workshop to pick out a blaster to use against his friends, Nerf is never a blaster of choice, at least unmodified. 😁 Don't get me wrong, I love Hasbro and Nerf, they are the reason I'm in this hobby and collect their product, but I know they can do better. When I review a blaster, I want an 8 year old and a 50 year old alike to know exactly what that blaster can and can not do so they can make the most informed buying decision possible. I will always give my honest opinion, and again, it's just my opinion. The new Pro blasters will be held to a bit of a higher standard than N-Series though. I'm excited to get my hands on them! I'm with ya. I really like the look of some of the new Blasters too. But even though it's a slight improvement over the old ones, I just can't see any justification in changing darts for just a slight improvement. I have no problem buying new blasters, but this isn't a really a new ammo type like ultra was and wish they would have spent the time and money perfecting elite darts instead.

Look around and notice how many businesses make "unique" products, often protected by patents, in order to differentiate themselves from their competitors. Everything from cars to computers, mobile phones to cooking utensils. If your products are the same as everyone else's, people have no reason to buy your products specifically... and that's not a good businesses strategy. So like they did years ago, Hasbro set a new Nerf 'standard' dart size, hoping you'll buy THEIR products. Like previous blasters, they're primarily kids toys. Kids only care about having cool looking blasters and some having some darts to fire from them. You are NOT the target audience for the N Series. Accept that and move on. Hasbro are also producing a "Pro" line for hobbyists to complain about. 😂

@@another3997 Well I respectfully and completely disagree. They made a new Dart for money purposes only. They could have competed and made a superior Elite Dart, but instead they took the easy way out and just went proprietary. Might be good for business, but I'm not here for that. I'm here to tell you my opinion on if it's worth wasting your money on or not. And the kids copout doesn't fly here. Kids under 8 might not care much about the blasters performance and just base it on look, but that's not the target audience either. 8-14 is who these are marketed to and I don't know one 8 year old that is ok with looking cool and getting their but whipped by superior blasters and darts. Not in this world. I gave the blasters a fair shot, I wanted to like them, all we got is more of the same. I think the N-Series looks pretty cool and the numbers are slightly better than Elite, but the new Darts are just slightly less awful than Elite. The whole point was this new amazing Dart! That's not what we got and any 8 year old will say the same thing as they consistently miss the target. Its not about who these Blasters are supposed to be for (Even though I disagree with you there too) it's about the claims that were made are once again false! Not only that, the darts are not as resilient as the older darts either. After two or three cycles they are heavily deformed. It's just not as good as it supposed to be. Hopefully the pro line will be better but we will see. I'm not here to complain, watch my dart zone videos and you'll see that because most of the time they do what they're supposed to! 😁

I feel your pain! I don't understand the move (other than cash grab purposes) since all Elite 2.0 blasters were 8 and up already. It is better, but not by much, and again, that was a really low bar! It looks good and has mod potential, but is a lateral move at best and a kick in the face of every parent that has to replace all their kids current darts with these crappy replacements. I just can't figure out who thinks this sh*t up at Hasbro. Brand new darts and they don't even have the decency to give you 2 mags worth! Its little things like that which show you what they think about the consumer. The prices are good, but they know they are going to get all the money they are losing by reducing the price back when everyone has to buy these stupid darts! I really wanted to like this series and hoped this dart would blow away the old Elite darts, but the disappointment continues from Hasbro. Dart Zone is smiling from ear to ear right now! 🤣

I wasn't a big fan of Hyper either. I wanted to like it and some of the blasters are ok, but It's just more of a pain than it's worth most of the time. Thanks for Watching!

I agree with that and is probably true, but one of the best things about this blaster is that it's already wired up to take upgrades so turning this thing into a dart hose couldn't be easier, if that's what you want! 😉 Change the pusher motor and you're done! It's a great blaster for beginner or experienced modders alike! Dropping in a new cage or pusher motor couldn't be easier! That's why I love this blaster so much... It's fantastic out of the box, but it's also the easiest blaster to mod as well! In my very humble opinion that is. 😁 Thanks for Watching!

Man, I put a kraken motor in this baby for the puser motor with a banned blaster cage. This is my favorite flywheeler by far. Full auto always puts a smile on my face 😊

Hell yeah man! That's awesome! I have the exact same setup in one of mine! Its a straight up dart hose, a 200+fps dart hose. Definitely always puts a smile on your face every time you pull the trigger while also making you thankful you're not on the receiving end of that monster! 😁

Don't worry about how many views, just worry about enjoying what you're doing and the quality of what you're putting out. My videos were doing pretty good in the beginning getting at least 1000 views, but now I'm not even coming close sometimes. I have no idea why. It's all about the UA-cam algorithm. It either loves you or hates you! All that matters though is that your passionate about what you're doing, put your heart into it, have fun and put out the best quality content you can and the views will come. Absolutely! It's great for the kids considering what you get for the price. The blasters are simple to use and prime, plus they perform well. There should be more entry in to the hobby packs like this to get the kids involved without breaking the bank. As far as the misfires, it's possible it was user error. I almost felt like the bolt was flexing when I pulled it back so the pusher might not have chambered the dart correctly or it could have been a magazine issue just getting stuck and not feeding the dart. I don't know but only happened a few times so I don't see it being a huge issue.

That's a very good point and the Aeon Pro X is light years ahead of these for only a few bucks more, however, I don't know if I'd trust little Timmy with the Aeon Pro. Honestly depends on how old little Timmy is cause he might have trouble priming the Aeon or might accidentally shoot his friend in the face with a 150+fps dart which could be bad! 🤣😂 These are fun to play around with but if age doesn't play a factor, the Aeon wins hands down, all day, every day!
