OMG YES!!! I was recently asking a Chat Bot questions about my problems and it was SO MUCH MORE helpful and empathetic.. WAY MORE than a human and gave me something to hope for. Definitely helped me to get through the moment. Talking to most people is a complete waste of time in my opinion.

That's the biggest reason that I could never kill myself, because I really do believe that suicides to to hell. I believe that hell is eternal separation from God, and that is simply untenable. That is the one reason that my mental health professionals believe that I am not a suicide risk, because i believe that so strongly.

I'm glad God made our paths cross today so that I could read your comments and pray for you. I'm sorry for all the pain and suffering you're going through. I don't really have an answer of how God deals with suicide. In my study of the 66 book version of the bible, I've never seen anything that talks about it. What I've learned from my own struggles with suicidal thoughts is that God is teaching me a *very* difficult lesson in empathy and compassion. And it's not because I'm a bad or disobedient child. It's simply because his desire for my life is to make me more like him. God chose you to walk this path...not because you're weak...but because he knows you're strong. And it's because *his* strength is inside you. I really hope that things get better for you. ❤❤❤

@@murob2347 I love you brother. ❤️ Please know that God loves you, too. He is in control of your life, so even if you attempt suicide, you'd only be successful because he allowed it. No human will can win against God's will. If the desire of your heart is to go home to heaven, you can simply ask God directly and let him decide. Every night before you go to bed, simply pray "God, I hate it here. Please let me come home". If he says no and you wake up in the morning, ask him to help you understand why it's so important for you to live another day in this world. Maybe even keep a journal or a video diary so at the end of each day, you can reflect on the lessons you learned. Just take it one day at a time. That's what Jesus taught us to do. We are only meant to focus on a single 24 hour period at a time because anything more than that is too much to handle. God bless and keep you safe, my dearest brother in Christ. ❤

People who are LBGTQ should not marry and have children with straight people because they really mess up the spouse and children’s lives when they finally come out and say they have been lying all along about who they are. Everyone should marry within their own kind. These poor children but thank goodness she has her mom. Hopefully she can find God too.

1:24:00 Nice to know someone else has a similar opinion on this guy haha. I can appreciate the amount of people he has helped and I don’t want to undermine how lucky he is to survive and tell his story, but I always disliked how sometimes his story is used as THE be-all objective answer. Suicide prevention in my earlier school years was just playing that guys video on a projector. I dislike how those old motivational videos with intense music don’t leave much room for deeper thinking. I think the suicidology behind suicide is much more complex than how those surface-level vids make it, and I believe this podcast is great at emphasizing that. Always love when a first responder shares their story. Thanks for sharing, M!

Really liked listening to this one. Deece came off to me as rlly eloquent and poetic. I could visualize each part of their story which was very interesting and informative. Also, as we enter the new year, I hope it’s okay to share my appreciation for this podcast under this video. I’m a mere UA-cam listener. Found this channel around May of 2023 while looking for something to listen to as I did schoolwork. I almost didn’t click the video that was recommended to me then. I’m so glad I did click it. Long story short, in 2023 living was unbearable, so being able to pop headphones in and listen to people who know how that feels was very comforting. Sean is a great listener who doesn’t leave out the nitty gritty while catering to each guest’s comfort level and personality at the same time. I love it. At times I laugh at the host-guest interactions, and at other times my heart breaks listening to the guest’s stories. I wish suicide didn’t exist, but it does and may always will, and this podcast faces that hard truth, sharing stories and wisdom from all walks of life in a way I’ve never seen (heard) before. So thanks for deciding to create this podcast one day (and posting it to UA-cam), and wishing everyone a fulfilling 2024.

This makes me wonder what the withdrawl effects of going off hormones without tapering are. Off to consult with lord google. It's almost like the people who claim to want to help can cause a lot more harm with intollerance and ignorance. I want to write a stern and gramatically incorrect letter to the parents of D for they/them. I don't think it would help at all though. The impulse in solidarity with D is there. D has a great memoir gift, there's no doubt about that, as well as inspiring perserverence and strength. I hope D's parents are coming around to fully learning how to love D in an empowering way. Praise for not being on social media, it's another substance, in my experience and opinion. Androgyny is beautiful, so is D. Good for D. I appreciate D's poeticism and sharings here, very powerful. Thanks for the platform, Sean.
