Dear sir, For determining the effect size, can the correlation coefficient be from a previous interim analysis which is done for the same variables? Is the squared multiple correlation (rho squared) the same rho which is obtained by the correlation analysis? Thank you.

Dr. Mahmoud, I followed your video. I have 2 independent variables (include the concentration and pretreatment) and 1 dependent variable (scores) However, when using the non parametric test in the SPSS software, I cannot select the concentration and pretreatment into the grouping variables, I can only choose the scores into the testing variable. I have tried many times but still does not work, What can I do for this situation? Tank you very much!!!

Thank you Prof. suppose we have 3 main variables (independent variable), (dependent Variable) and (Mediating variable). each variable is measured by some already established and validated scale. and each scale has about 4 Dimensions with about 3 statements for each dimension. and all items were scored on a 7-point Likert scale 1=Strongly Disagree to 7=Strongly Agree. How would be the correct analysis process for each dimension and each scale? and how would be the correlation analysis between the 3 variables? and for the total scores of dimensions/scales, should we use averages (means) or sums and why?. thank you very much in advanced for your kind clarification.
