A little test of simple Control Rig for any fighting. In this particular example I can correct the character orientation to punch an exact location. Punching itself is triggering by target location.

It's a very basic setup, unpolished. Character with a red arrows - is a full-featured Characters. Characters with yellow outline is a members of the Instanced Skeletal Mesh component. Every Instance and Character - controlled by dedicated AI Controller.

This time I tuned my sitting animation system to work with moving platform. This platform is driven by the Spline with stops. Pawn is custom ALS character. Character can have limited interaction when sitting.

Split/Second is still my favorite racing game to this day. I'm so sad we'll likely never get the sequel it deserves...

My favorite racer of all time. The physics were perfect. The destructible tracks were such a unique gimmick. Whatever your role in the project, sincere gratitude.

So thats how the player driver escapes that green logo company since the end of split second 1. I’d say this makes sense, although attempting to kill the drivers means they were illegally handling business affairs with the Split/Second Tv series. Pretty crazy makes me wanna see how the other drivers from the series finale got away or whatever happened to them too. I like how the player driver got away, from a high rise down to the subways giving possible safe passage out of the city. Or at least a moment to catch their breath.

И почему Дисней одобрили сделать Тачки 2? И ПРИ ЭТОМ ВЫПУСТИТЬ НА PS3/XBOX360?!(они же типо перешли в Мобильный рынок?!) А и еще почему Дисней Отказали сделать Коллаборацию Split/Second с Тачками? Это же привело бы им больше фанатов и денег? И приветствую с Украины.
Привет, дружище! Спасибо, тогда для нас всех это стало шоком. И проблема состояла не в том, что Дисней хотел закрыть проект. А именно - хотел закрыть студию в числе еще нескольких в тот год. То есть это было в чистом веде решение "эффективного менеджмента". И нет, из второй части нет больше роликов кроме этого. Так, чисто технические наработки...
@@vladtheclad а и почему Дисней Отказались от Коллаборации Split/Second с Тачки?(да я про мультик) это же бы принесло бы больше фанатов? И еще неужели издателю было настолько плевать. Просто я смотрел рекламные ролики Split/Second. Это ну не очень. Очень был малый рекламный маркетинг.

Вспомнил где я это видел. Канал BigBit Ltd показывал видео билда датированного 15 ноября 2010 г. трестировавшегося на ПК, а версия в вашем видео более ранняя тестировалась на Xbox (где то слышал от другого разработчика что было несколько билдов) Так же после побега из города предполагалось что побег продолжится в метро (которое кстати вырезали из ранних бэта версий игры 2009 года) Потом были миссии на Электростанции где можно было гонять как на лодках (они ранее еще фигурировали на комиксах и артах s/s2 где подтопленные локации Аэропорта и Электростанции после взрыва дамбы в 1й части игры) так и на вертолете, ходить пешком как в шутере, нажимать кнопки и подрывать что то там)) ... Дальше предположительно пустыня... одному дурочку кто то анонимно слил 3 ролика об этих миссиях, позже он стёр свой канал просто так с роликами разумеется. P.S. Сейчас есть любители которые пытаются делать что то с игрой на хайповом UE5 и Disney на это наплевать видимо, сами запороли всё, но хоть другим пока не мешают. Уверен где то есть инструменты для моддинга игры, думаю когда то их тоже кто то сольёт и пошли на*** эти Disney. Ибо в 2018 году кто то продавал девелоперскую консоль PS3 на Amazon и там был один из предрелизных билдов игры в который мы с пацанами кстати рубимся по онлайну на взломанной PS3, к сервакам как ни странно подключается.

Do you have any other footage of the early Split/Second 2 builds. There were actually footage of other parts of Split/Second 2, including on-foot and boat gameplay that got removed online. Is there by any chance that you have any footage of that?

@@vladtheclad the question is, would disney even care anymore, given that its been so long. its a prototype for a cancelled sequel to a game from over 20 years ago, from a studio that no longer exist, so i imagine any possible nda is effectively void, even if it isnt, i doubt that theirs any one who could enforce it, or anyone who would care too anyways. if you do find anything else, please be sure to save it, back it up, and keep it safe. could eventually be posted somewhere, someday.

Oct 8? So this is an earlier version of the prototype escape level published by the other channel, dating back a month before...i hope someone saves this video, other prototype levels shown by a deleted channel never got saved becoming lost with no backup.
This is a prototype of SS2. Are you talking about escape prototype from original SS?
@@vladtheclada long dead game studio (from what it seems) channel named BigBit showed a build that dates after this one, Nov 15 2010. It’s quite known and mostly channels who cover this cancelled sequel show that video.

Are there anymore prototypes? I still remembered there was a video showcasing the stormdrain where you had to evade the helicopter and later change the vehicle? Like a boat or what, but that video got deleted… That might be connected with this video.
Those vids are gone as the channel that had them was deleted years back, nobody had download them and the guy who had those vids no long has them. I can only imagine what they looked like, thankfully we still got the story bord concepts.
@@SHIFTER24FX I had watched those before the channel got deleted, one showed a level were the player was driving a boat in a canal, the second video showed the player on foot trying to avoid explosions and some buildings falling, both were, of course, prototypes, with the same grey textures as in this video, but of course, it showed some good fueled up explosive action and destruction. Split/Second 2 would have been an absolute BLAST (no pun intended)

Looks good. You made this in 2017? I could use it for my game. Im still in UE4.27. I think there's a way to import a Cloth simulation in UE4 (from another program). I forgot the name. But it only does 1 animation (not live cloth interaction).
Hi. i was also looking into this. is there no way to use cloth simulation and morph targets together?. because i tried and it doesnt work. however , using skinned mesh( joints) motion can also affect the cloth sim.
Very good. Stepping around stools and keeping legs under table - needs precision, which you did. Is this your asset? And which engine can do this, UE4.27?

So everything you can still make with blueprints but the difference is that you have to pay 200$ to gain more "clean" view? I think it's not worth...
If it's save you couple of days to deliver the logic - it's worth it. If you don't understand how important to have a clear script/code.... then I can't help you ;)
@@vladtheclad I understand what clean code means, what i dont understand is how pay 200$ to clean code is worthy because i can clean my code myself.
@@starvosxant4348 it allows you to have tick disabled. It basically lets you do what you can already do with C++. So its 200 dollars to do mostly anything u can do in C++ but with blueprints. Not 200 dollars to have clean code. In that case, it depends if u want to put in the time to learn C++ and spend extra time writing code or you can spend 200 dollars in a blueprint only workflow. Tbh i feel like this type of plugin should be the default for unreal engine. But since epic games havent done that, its either this plugin or C++ or lots of wasted time making convoluted blueprints

@@akzork no. C++ has better performance than blueprints and probably will always. The plug-in is simply better than default blueprints and can let you do more complex blueprints with an easier time than the default blueprint experience
