Looked like a great meet tbf, i passed my driving test in 2000 and had the pleasure of going to a lot of the old school meets, nothing compares to them to be quiet honest but this looked good. The idiots with the pop and bang maps, driving around like bellends ruined it unfortunately

I was secretly hoping I was in this video. I saw everyone filming when I left the event. I was in the carpark which shared the exit with the display cars. Sadly, the traffic was too much to open it up, but I would have lost the exhaust battle based on the others that left. Incase you did capture me, I was driving my Dark Blue Audi S4 (B9 Saloon, VO17 EOZ), with 3 lads in it. Overall a good day out.
I had 3 of these cars in the 80s , on a damp or wet road they weren’t very clever , had one sideways at 70 down a country lane by accident, half way home from work , after a night shift, 10 mins later I went sidewards into a telegraph pole , the screen popped out landed on the grass in one piece , the car was a right off ,,, last one I ever had , and the only car I’ve ever crashed to this day 36 yrs later , I’ve had all sorts, scoobies , r5 turbo , Nissan 350 , xr4i , but these cars were sort of death traps , but nice to see , and have a place in automotive history, cheers shane uk 🇬🇧
Yeah they love a bit of sideways , my dads had multiple still has one now , he’s been sideways in a few of them to say the least 😅
@@Cadan_Videoz the worst I had was a 2 ltr mk5 cortina , that I believe was fitted with a 16 gearbox , or dif , not sure which, either way it only did 80 flat out , but on a hot dry day I could drift round any island with no effort at all, , that was a funny and scary car , cheers shane

I used to deliver papers to the house and it used to be parked outside lol. Mad car went well back in the day. Had a crazy Clifford alarm on it when you walked past it. Bloody proximity sensors 🤣🤣
