I had many things happen at once like you did, and the anxiety showed up in my work too. Therapy has helped me so much, and I hope it helps you too! Good job for taking that step. Sometimes the hardest part is just finding a therapist and scheduling the appointment.

I'm sorry you are having a rough go lately. I wanted to tell you that the last clip of your vlog could have literally been recorded by myself with just a few tweaks between cat health stress, feeling weird at work, hurting myself in a dumb way (slipped trying to bring in the trash cans, knee still has not recovered because 30's) and my anxiety has been out of control. All that to say, I really enjoy and relate to your content. I hope your therapist was a good fit. Therapy has definitely been a positive tool in my life, even though it can feel difficult in the moment. I hope you have a good experience! Good luck this week. Here's hoping for better days.

I’m so glad my cat isn’t the only one waking us up at 4a for food. I have a little tray on my nightstand and my cat, who is laying with me on the side of the bed, ever so lazily reaches over and starts moving things around. My alarm clock gets flipped, my chapstick is missing and then he pats at my retainer case. 😮‍💨😮‍💨 wakes me up and then he will staaaaaaaare and then i get the little paw petting my face. Love him so much, but he is a menace in the morning😂

I so relate to your point about the influence we get from social media that we lose touch with our inner preferences a little bit. I’ve felt so lost with my personal style lately because it feels we are jumping from one micro trend to another constantly and not really given enough time to digest it and assess if it’s for us or not l. Putting a pause on buying new things and instead observing what kind of clothes do I gravitate towards from my closet has helped me a lot in this regard P.S Jane Eyre is also my favorite book ever ❤
