Sorry--The words of the Soviet Union Anthem were my favourite--and that is not to take anything away from the Russian People. The Soviet Union was all that kept the world in balance--and it represented a hope for the rest of the world now absent. How easily are the dreams of the masses and their rights as soviet citizens discarded without their consent by lesser men motivated for personal gain and an offshore bank account.
