Very cool 😎. Big like 👍 Mike .
Beautiful car! The round lines from the 50s were also really wonderful. I hope you had a great start into 2025. Wishing you also a Happy New Year!
I like this old boxy square design of cars. The front end design from Simca was also very nice at this car. I can remember similar styles at some other cars even up to the 80s on the Simca-Matra Rancho which also has been a very cool MPV.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sunt superbe machetele Simca ❤❤❤. Classic
Mulțumesc mult, un an nou cu toate cele bune vă doresc!
@romadcars La multi ani !!!
Happy New Year 2025 to all ...and a new episode from the Simca story!
👍👍👍
Very cool 😎
Super ❤❤❤

Never seen before this beautiful vintage casting, awesome 👍👍👍
I just found this video as recommendation and it seems like I did miss to watch this video 2 months ago. But here we go my friend 🙂 And like I am always saying, another great looking Simca! There were so many great looking cars in the late 50s. And Simca had also a great variety of good looking cars that I didn't know about. Never seen this one in real.
Simca had such beautiful and great cars back then. I was growing up in the 80s and back then all I knew were smaller Simca cars and the very cool Matra-Simca Ranchero (later Talbot-Matra Ranchero).
Hah, I had to laugh RoMadCars. The first car you show is almost identical to the '82 Oldsmobile Cutlass that my Dad bought. The car itself was nice, and I remember this one was built at a factory in Canada, which I assumed was an Ontario plant. The car had AWFUL built quality. The paint was peeling from the time it was almost new, the door handle broke, the handle for the window winder came off, the door sank on its hinges, UGH! I later read about GM's worst plant that was in Quebec, and shut down in the 1990s. I knew immediately that the car must have come from that factory! The labor was terrible, on strike, etc. I think they worked themselves out of a job. The car itself was pretty good and I drove it when I got my license. It rode very well, and handled well for an American car of the early 1980s, it actually was durable. I remember that a wheel always had this annoying rattle in it, and I suspect it was a case of an employee putting a bolt inside the hubcap to sabotage the car and GM's reputation. These seemed to be the "official car of the US middle class" at that time, as many people in my neighborhood owned one. I would have loved that car if it had been properly built. The moral of my story is that if you buy one that is left on the road, stay away from the ones made in Canada! Check the label in the driver door! And if you think I don't know about cars other than American models, think again! I am also crazy about cars and recognize the blue Olcit, the red ARO and what must be three Dacia 1100 models? I remember a book I bought in Canada that had models from around the world, and Romanian cars were included. Hah, and the '74 Cadillac Eldorado convertible. It seems to be a car that defines American excess from the 1970s, and one of the few classics that I see frequently on the roads during the Summer months. I still marvel at the size of the car, and the comparatively small interior. Thanks for sharing this! Always interesting to see the cars on the streets of countries around the world. Excellent work.
WOW, this is a wonderful and very interesting comment, thanks a lot! I don't know the story of that Oldsmobile, I see it just once, and quick made some photos. American cars are pretty rare here in RO, but they are some in the ”Retromobil” Clubs, the national club of vintage cars owners. The Eldorado is on the Retromobil parade every year. About Dacia 1100, Oltcit, ARO, there are more and more restored as classic cars, and even some clubs are formed, similar to the Trabby Clubs in Germany.
Beautiful car , wow , just great. Big like 👍. Mike
Another marvelous looking car from Simca!
A lot of cars that I never get to see . Awesome video. Mike
Renault 12, Mercedes Cobra 👍👍👍👍
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you some of them are old photos, a 10-15 years collection of images.
@@romadcars Super
Potrivita melodia pentru model...
NICEEEEEE
This car got so many different model names ... Simca Vedette, Simca Trianon, Simca Ariane and Simca Versailles. So from what I read the difference was the trim level and the engines. But really a great looking car!
The black cab is very beautiful ❤
Yes indeed is one of my favorites!
For me, it has value, because it bring me joy to see it in my collection. I am a collector, so that is the only value for me. I don't sell nothing, I just enjoy every model I have. I'm also glad because they bring you memories from your childhood!
@@LiS4472 Rodon - Metal body, metal base, well made models. I have only one. Thanks for the comment!
ua-cam.com/video/rBjKdbRfaT0/v-deo.html
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe 👍👍🚗🚗🤗🤗
An old car who seems very modern, I don't know, It look ahead of his time!
i have one of these but a 1964. lovely car!
I don't know, but these big windows and the simple and elegant design are looking very modern today. Thank you very much for the comment, wish I post more often!
Beautiful car and I was just thinking it's looking exactly like the Simca Ariane. So I did a little research about it and there were different names for different trims. So the Simca Versailles was the top version while the Simca Ariane was the economic version. And the Simca Vedette was just the base trim for the beginning after Simca acquired the Ford France factory in Poissy - the design was still from Ford in France and Simca was allowed to sell the Ford Vedette under the Simca badge. They did sell it in some markets as a Ford. For sure a very beautiful car - no matter under what trim name it got sold.
Superbe machetele Simca
Awesome casting. Mike 😊
Cool hot wheels top😅
Thank you, glad you like it!
❤❤❤
My neighbour had two of the (series 2) 1301/1501 at the same time in the late seventies/early eighties. The design felt very dated. The front of the series 1 was very reminiscent of its contemporary sibling Simca 1100, hence the association with the Rancho model.
This car was also a movie star 😄 in the french movie ”Playtime” directed by Jacques Tati he choose these cars to give his movie a more ”futuristic” aspect. The big majority of cars were these models of Simca. The film is also on UA-cam, great quality of image, you can check it! 🚕🚗🛻🚓
❤
🤗❤️👍💯
Thank You!
@@romadcars very nice car, thank You for sharing ✋
I've seen this model before not too long time ago. The rear end reminds me about the first generation of the Audi 100. The front end was of course way different and typical Simca. Never seen the real car.
I can not remember about this particular Simca - but born in the middle of the 70s so it were actually the 80s when I was starting to read and know what cars are around in the streets. Then this Simca was of course already approx. 20 years old and I guess the most of them gone for a loooong time. But I can relate the front end design to other cars from that era. I liked the front ends of them - like also later for the probably first crossover car Matra-Simca Rancho.
Great reaction as all ways @BFDdrives ! I am glad you remember about the Matra-Simca Rancho, nice car, I see it in reality and I have also an 1:64 model.
@@romadcars I do remember the Rancho very well. Produced by Matra who later produced the Espace with the Renault badge. Very rare car, haven't seen a real for long.
In my late teens I remember seeing these cool little cars on the west coast of Canada. Big American cars were the norm back then so seeing one, left a lasting impression! The rear end styling is very cool and gives the car a sportier look. Thanks for the memories by sharing!!✌🏻🇨🇦
I am very glad for your feedback. Before posting these videos about Simca, I was asking my self: what's the point, the brand is now history, BUT now I see that is something relevant, and bring back beautiful memories!
👍👍👍
beautiful cars ma friend 😍😁😎✌🏼
