GOD Bless you all ! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Lots of good organizations to get supplies to and avoid the fema bs
Now.. are those chainsaws, are they the electric ones ? and just how are you supposed to use them when the power grid is offline because it was rip the new one. OR where are they supposed to be used as paperweights?
Frank is my hero!
Is this a product that i can use over existing grout in order to change the color? If not, do you have a product that would work?
dont ever use this product, it dry very fast, you use 1/10 of the product and throw out the rest. and difficult to clean.
Turn off the music literally can’t even hear you and it’s corny asf
Do it on a real backsplash and show me how easy it is.
I wish there was no music. Thanks for the video.
Well I'm hoping we can do orange grout in our orange/red glass tiles (bathroom.) Although we will need to use white thinset to make the orange-red color pop. Fingers-crossed. Love The Tile Doctor's videos - but HOW do you turn off the "incidental music" running during the beginning minutes? Thank-you!
I have been trying to contact Kurt to arrange for the colour jewels to be available in Australia, but I am not getting any response.
Im about to use this grout over glass mosaics should i seal tiles before grouting?for easier clean up?
I’m having tommy Bahama 1x1 pool tile installed on my fiberglass pool. Will the paper backing work instead of mesh? Can only silicone be used to set it?
What's the pot life in that bucket? Btw I can hear you fine.
very helpful, thank you!
How many buckets of crystal evo would I use on 100 square feet. I'm terrified of not having enough and those buckets seem small.
What’s the tile size?
Would you do a tutorial on how to make a really visible vibrant gold grout? I'm doing this alone and just want good grout but I'm scared I'll shell out the 2 grand and ruin it. Please help me lol. No one on UA-cam has a real video.
I have black shiny small square 1 inch tiles in square foot webbing sections as my tile choice
So glass tile is kind of like gemstones. You really have to know the material you’re using with it to make sure you don’t damage it.
You should really get rid of the music, or at least lower it quite a bit. It is very distracting and makes it difficult to hear him.
Why the music? I can barely hear you.
You all have demonstrated the product and amount that I want to purchase but I can not locate where to buy. Can you please help me?
Hello, I have a question I just bought starlike epoxy grout and I didn’t need my walls done so now that I’m ready for grout there’s a gap between the new floor and the wall. Should I use the starlike epoxy gout in the space??? (about an inch) Thank you so much!
is this product basically liquid latex? I did my bath walls and floors in tile and the place where I bought my tile had a product called "Admix". It was liquid latex. I mixed the setting bed as well as the grout with it to make a really nice water proof floor and bath walls.
I cannot hear what you are saying, your music is too loud.
Basically 11 minutes of “mix thoroughly.”
We chose to utilize this grout over all others due to a beautiful blue art glass tile (came on a 12X12 square /mesh back) we had selected for the bottom half of our shower and also utilized on the floor of the shower as to not take away from the multiple colors of the marble small hexagon (12x12 square/mesh back)mosaic tile we selected. NIGHTMARE! The subcontractor obviously did not know what he was doing using this awesome grout. He did not clean it off of the tiles as he went. then the project manager did not provide him with anything but soap and water and a felt type sponge to try to get it off after it had been drying for days. (good grief) Within a couple of weeks time..The grout had/has YELLOWED. We have been told by an expert tile guy that this cannot be remedied/undone. We have been told that the product was improperly mixed....that the manufacturer actually provides 'classes' on how to use this product. That tile installers who use this product have to actually know what they are doing. would not We had opted for this grout mainly due to the fact that it is a 'no color epoxy grout (unless one opts to add color) which meant we did not need to worry about grout taking away from the beautiful design of the tile and since it is epoxy .... no tedious grout cleaning' down the road. ...and lastly because it is an additional waterproofing measure. We have big problems. Going on over a year now.... The entire shower build was done improperly . So we have been told by 3 different actual 'experts'. Problem is.None of them have been willing to actually document what they freely and clearly state to us. Improper shower build. Second level master bathroom. Wooden subfloor. Tile crew slapped DuRock down on the floor and DuRocked the walls.DuRock goes all the way from floor to ceiling. Rolled the entire works with one coat of Red Gard So DuRock of walls is now part of the shower pan. Mud poured for shower pan allowed to dry. It was then covered with one coat of AquaDefense (Laticrete? sp?) that's it. they called it 'good'. GC told us a shower membrane 'wasn't needed' due to Red Gard being used. I've been searching for help (real help) for months. To no avail. The experts (30 years in the industry or more) have repetitively told us ' DO NOT RUN WATER in this shower! IT WILL LEAK!!' We have no idea 'how' the drain was installed. When they had poured the mud pan...it appeared as if it was just a hole in the mud and then the drain pipe. The flange to the drain was inserted into said mud hole, after it had dried. We have no idea how that was secured...or if it is properly sealed. (from all the research we've done...it seems that was improperly done) The experts we have had out basically state that the very fact the shower pan was improperly created makes all the other improperly performed assemble irrelevant ...as it all simply has to be ripped out...there is no fixing what has been done wrong from step 1. Was Durock even installed properly? No. Laid down and screwed in. That's it. They did the entire bathroom floor that way. Which was actually lucky for us. As it makes the necessary tear out much simpler. There is no real 'help' when you get burned by a GC in the state of GA. Hiring an attorney and going to court is the only method. GA state laws need to change. There are plnty of agencies to 'report' a licensed general 'CON' tractor to. but none can actually help the individual who has fallen victim to such. If there is a ANYONE out there in the state of GA who could actually provide us some REAL HELP ...feel free to reach out to me! This is LITERALLY a nightmare....I have had no use of my master bathroom, master closet, or master bedroom in over a year. Of 4 bedrooms...we have normal use of 2. The third is full of all the stuff that belongs in the other spaces that have been 'under construction' for a year. We hired a home inspector to come out and assess it all... to learn our home is now 'out of code'. this is the kind of situation that pushes people over the edge.......
If you do tile for a living you'd be best not to ever show a client this grout. Using this product in a large shower or the like sucks.
Do as is a Say~!! not as a Do.. ( maybe Change that for a Demo ! )
Are you working next to a birds nest ?
I can't stress enough that if you have a client or designer who specs this product triple the price. Doing a demo board is easy. Try doing a shower that has 8'high x 8' wide x 5' deep.
What was the hardest problem with it? It looks dry for grout
@@kimterry4239material is very expensive and if they are specifying this grout they are looking for high end. Great products but the customers you do this stuff will be a pain.
The product is trash hard to work with the !!
Great video 👍🏼 I find my 60 x 60cm porcelain tiles move very slightly on these supports and make a slight sound when walked on. Very annoying. Supports are on a solid concrete base. I’ve even tried using a grout between the tiles which stopped the sound for a few weeks but the movement has led to the grout falling out. Any advice please?
I wish someone had told me about the white felt pad. I did not know that that was a necessary item. Not sure if I can substitute something else for it
The felt pad came with my online purchase of Starlike grout.
@@pamstanley4760 you got lucky it didn't come with mine
I purchased some gold Starlike from you a while ago and now with this quarantine I have time to use it. I purchased the gold, after opening the container I noticed that the grout was grey in color although I do also have a bag of gold powder. I assumed that the grout would be gold as well however maybe the gold powder changes the color of the grout I do not know and there lies my question today. Is the grout suppose to be grey, the (A) part of the two part mix?
I can help you here the gold powder does not turn your grout gold it puts a gold reflective shimmer (fleck) through your grout on the top of your tub it should have the name of the grout you purchased and as I said the gold powder is a highlight it does not change your grout colour to gold, I hope that helps.
Thanks for the video. I have a few questions. I do glass mosaics and recently discovered the starlike crystal epoxy grout. I purchased the standard size bucket however I won’t use all of the product for one piece. Here’s my questions: I believe you said for smaller areas 500 g of the product would be perfect, but how much of the catalyst per 500 g of the part a? Can I split up the large pouch of catalyst into separate smaller containers and if so, what material container.? Thanks so much and can’t wait to use this.
Was That John Roberts speaking in the background, The CTI?
really wish you had a video from start to finish with the sealer and everything
I purchased Starlike Evo grout, and was told that epoxy grout does not require a sealer.
it does not need a sealer it is Epoxy. They sell Sealers for non Epoxy Grout and those that like to spend Extra money.
@@Awack420 this grout is the only thing I have used ...I know all of what you said in your comment , but I put a lacquer over it and it brightens the grout and brings the colors out more so.
can the grout be used on thinner tiles?
