The town where my niece lives in Illinois has a beautiful Main Street. And the houses are these old Victorians. Just beautiful.

Remembering Main Street looks fascinating. I love old timey stuff like that. Our downtown is so tiny and I love seeing old pictures of what it used to look like. I used to adore the Golden Books. I always had one in my arms when I was little. It looks like you got a lot more romcoms than you usually do. I hope you enjoy all of your new to you books! Fun haul!

Having the cover printed on the book certainly makes reading better than dealing with a dust cover. I like finding surprises in used books, but to find newspaper clippings, wow, that's fun! You did quite well only getting 8 books. I hope you enjoy them all. Is the Frontier Lady a romance or more about the frontier?

Wonderful responses, I'm so glad you did the tag! How interesting that you use subscriptions then browse, but don't organize specifically. I have a similar sub count and that is what drives my constant attempts to organize different ways to get on top of it 😂 Ooh excellent point about needing a question on when you make time to watch, that seems like it makes a huge difference in watching habits.

I've read Hamerston Hall by Jane Eastbourne and enjoyed it. It fits in very well for the Jane Austen July challenge.

LOL Finding time to watch so many booktube creators is a challenge. Especially when I want to read. I have my book open in front of me and I read a section and then watched your video. OH no. It's no fun to read a book as large as les Mis and not enjoy it. I've been told the translation matters. I just received the recommended translation and I'm hoping to get to it next year. I remember reading Madeline as a kid. I think the only book series I didn't like as a kid was Amelia Bedelia because she took everything literally. I just found it too ridiculous. I was a serious child. LOL I liked seeing your responses. Thank you for doing the tag.
