    If we reduce the corporate tax rate down to 15% who is going to pay for the corporate bailouts like the PPP Trump, TARP under Bush, and the Savings and Loans crisis under Reagan ... Let alone replacing aging infrastructure they've neglected already.

      The issue is.. Corporate taxes become cost of doing business and thus get reflected on the final product. You have to be careful levying taxes on corporate income. Personal income though, that is much more easily taxed without significant societal cost.

    Beautifully summarized, Noel. The only thing I would add is that in President Trump’s economic policy, any shortfall in tax revenues would be filled with massive growth - based mainly on vastly increased energy supplies. “Drill, baby, drill!!👍

      Thanks so much for the kind words, Janet! You bring up a great point about the emphasis on energy expansion to drive economic growth. That’s definitely a key part of the conversation when it comes to tax revenue and economic policy. Appreciate you adding that perspective!

    😮 I see a sincere attempt at making this non-biased but there were definitely sections of opinion that leaned favorably toward one over the other during the description of policy a noticeable vocal favorability took away any chances for this to be unbiased 😅 . But i will give that the information outside of opinion was accurate If not limited and I appreciate that.

    This was really informative and I like how you manage to stay non-political. I have two questions: 1. A huge portion of Chad’s salary is based on bonus. He is quite successful, and his bonus check is large. As you know, bonus checks are taxed quite higher than a regular paycheck. Whose plan would help with this issue? 2. whose plan benefits a special education teacher’s meager salary?😅

    • @NoelLorenzanaCPA
      @NoelLorenzanaCPA 5 днів тому

      Thanks so much for watching and for the great questions! Regarding Chad’s bonus, bonuses are taxed as supplemental (ordinary) income, which often means a higher withholding rate up front. Trump’s plan focuses more on lowering income tax rates and making the 2017 tax cuts permanent, which could indirectly help if his bonus pushes him into a higher tax bracket. Harris, on the other hand, advocates for higher taxes on high earners, so there may be less direct relief in her plan for someone with a large bonus. As for the special education teacher’s salary, Harris’s plan includes expanding tax credits like the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and the Child Tax Credit, which might benefit those with lower incomes. Both plans have different angles, but Harris’s seems more focused on helping working-class earners. Hope this helps, and thanks again for your support!

    In regards to the corporate tax rate (currently 21%), raise to high we drive away big corp profits over seas, too low and have to cut government spending. I like the idea of Elon Coming in to slash government waste. He did amazing job slashing Twitter (X)

    I wonder if we can ever actually have a thriving society, if our birth rates decline because we can't afford to live comfortably. We no longer have 3+ socioeconomic groups, its lower class & upper class. Its sad, I won't ever have kids when I cannot even live comfortably off of $70k -$100k a year. People will say "thats so much more than minimum wage" but this is the problem, once upon a time when you earned more than the minimum wage by at least 2x-4x you could afford to live. NOW you can't even live comfortably without penny pinching, saving is no longer a thing :'( Love your content, keep it up! Earned a new sub for sure

    • @NoelLorenzanaCPA
      @NoelLorenzanaCPA 10 днів тому

      I completely agree with you, and it’s really disheartening to see how much harder it’s become to live comfortably, even with what used to be considered a solid income. The divide between socioeconomic groups is widening, and the middle class is shrinking, making it feel like there’s less hope for a stable future. It’s a harsh reality that many people are grappling with-when $70k-$100k doesn’t stretch as far as it used to, it’s no wonder so many are questioning how we can build a thriving society. People are waking up slowly, but surely. Thank you so much for the sub and support!

    The Economic depression can happen and would happen some day for sure, but when that happens it would just be some numbers that would not be looking good. And so to correct it, some countries would go on to a huge war. Anyone who comes out alive will start and dictate everything. The main reason why the metrics have been failing today is because of the Population difference between 1925 and 2024. In 1925 the total world population was around 2 Billion. Today in 2024 its 8 Billion. The Educated workforce today we have is 100 times more than past few decades. Especially in india, Today each house in India has atleast 1 or 2 engineers who is ready to work at any salary you provide to them, these guys will easily work for any North American / European companies for salaries much less than a citizen would work for, therefore there would not be any shortage of workforce in tech sector. So the tech would keep on growing. Now, the Tech products of US has consumers all around the world. These consumer's will keep bringing money back into US, So US will keep on Surviving, and would not face extremely hard difficulties in maintaining the growth. So no matter how much money the Fed keeps printing, there are guys who are ready to offset it. Everytime when the US posses the risk of recession, they have increased the immigration. Look at last 2 years of immigration by US. its at a Record high. Same goes for Canada. Remember, Money= Compensation = Human Resource. We have plenty of human resource as compared to 1925. So the economy will remain afloat as long as there are people who are smart enough to keep it afloat and, growing economy giants such as India is present to take part and contribute to the global growth. Earlier when covid happened in 2020, people were expecting recession by 2022-2023. It is 2024 now, The US gdp growth slowed considerably but it never went into recession. No matter how much fed kept raising the rates, the labour market remained strong defying all the previous theories and metrics.

    • @NoelLorenzanaCPA
      @NoelLorenzanaCPA 10 днів тому

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts-there’s a lot of insight here, especially regarding the role of a growing and educated global workforce. It’s true that countries like India are playing an increasingly important role in the global economy, and tech sectors continue to thrive with talent from all over the world. However, while a larger population and workforce can contribute to economic resilience, it's important to consider that economic depressions involve more than just workforce availability and tech growth. They can be triggered by a combination of factors like unsustainable debt, geopolitical tensions, and systemic financial risks. Regarding the U.S., while tech and immigration have helped keep the economy strong, the underlying issues-like income inequality, inflation, and national debt-can’t be ignored. These are complex challenges that can’t be offset solely by an increase in human resources. It’s great to see optimism about global growth and collaboration, but it’s also important to remain aware of the economic vulnerabilities that still exist. Thanks again for offering your perspective!

    Nope. TODAY we have resources and solutions to problems that were *not even imagineable* in the days prior, during or after the great depression. We will likely *never* see anything like the kind of depression seen during the great depression. Do NOT be afraid. Economies are so much more resilient today that i cant possibly overstate it. Have you ever been close to freezing or starving to death? Probably not. We are lucky to live in this time! None of us watching this will die of starvation. Whats going to shave years off your life is fear-mongering clickbait and unnecessary anxiety caused by people trying to make money by making you scared.

      @NoelLorenzanaCPA You can and should be even though this video is up. There's a LOT of people who use scare tactics to get views and that seems to have turned around and turned into a common belief, unfortunately, because it spurs more fodder into the idea itself. Recessions occur almost like clockwork, and have occurred since people exchanged goods and services (but the subject of economics did not exist as a study). When we started using currency recessions changed. Technology has also changed how/why recessions occur. Our ability to predict and correct things is not perfect but pretty good and is only getting better. The large changes we are all witnessing are, in part, due people's decision making while under (unnecessary) pressure; pressure which is fueled by social media/online information/communication. The mere fact that we have developed a much *wider* body of knowledge since the great depression is a huge game changer that I cannot overstate. Things can and will go wrong. But you are much less likely to starve or die of... basically anything/everything than in the times of the great depression.

      I appreciate your thoughtful comment, and I can see where you’re coming from regarding the role of scare tactics in alternative media. There’s no doubt that social media can amplify fears and sometimes create unnecessary pressure. However, I think it’s important to acknowledge that while we do have a greater body of knowledge and better tools to predict and manage economic downturns, the risks today are also unique and complex. Recessions might occur regularly, but the factors contributing to them have evolved significantly, especially with the interconnectedness of global markets, high levels of debt, and geopolitical tensions. While technology and a broader understanding of economics are certainly assets, they don’t eliminate the possibility of severe economic disruptions-just think of the 2008 financial crisis, which many experts didn’t fully predict. We may or may not experience the same level of hardship as during the Great Depression, but that doesn’t mean we’re immune to significant economic challenges. The potential for an economic depression today could look very different but still have profound impacts on people’s lives, especially those already struggling financially. Thanks again for sharing your perspective.

    Was he trying to PATENT the concept of Marketing and Selling watches on the internet using 'wireless electronic devices'? And I love that he specifically mentions the idea of selling 'Virtual watches', for use in on-line 'virtual worlds'! So he wanted to somehow sell 'Virtual Rolexes' that could be worn by your 'VRChat'/Metaverse' avatar? lol

    To be a long term silver bull you have to fundamentally believe that the pricing of silver has (for the most part) been historically priced solely on it's industrial value (the past 150 years) and that at some near future point it will take on a new value based on its relative scarcity and difficulty in mining largely disregarding its industrial value (i.e. it becomes a store of value in the minds of investors as opposed to being considered a commodity). Should the repricing of silver based on relative scarcity valuation come to be it will annihilate any attempts at market manipulation in very short order. In short, once it solidly breaks $50 any shorts in the market will be chum in the water. Prior to that point there may still be some manipulation and your argument may have some merit.
