Had to replace the gas line, had to order it from parts store. There are repair kits you can buy but I prefer replacing the gas line with OE parts 😁

Try the fuse box first k twist them

From horn ring threw the center of the shaft to other side of shaft connection at gearbox shaft bolt

1968 bug still have a lot to fix on it. I will be working on my 1960 first. I drive the 68 to work when it’s not raining ☔️. I am keeping the 68 running for that and going to make the Swiss cheese 60 into a trail buggy soon. Have to go to work Monday through Friday so getting them done is hard to do. It might according how thick the gasket is should use longer bolts.

No sir , it's been running for about 4 years now no problems yet about to add a magnetic drain plug to it on next oil change .

If your studs are too small then you can use them but if you have a 1600 cc engine case that is new it fits perfectly k .

@@vwmatthew1045 Removed the studs and went with bolts as it's easier to get on with the brass washers. Thanks Matt!

If you put in bolts one held that you took out held down the oil pick up tube with a nut on top k so you might want to bolt that one back in k

@@vwmatthew1045 i believe hes talking about the black wire that should power fuse #1, and #2 in the fuse box.

Still using it, just clean out the filter at each oil change. My wife is driving the bug every day all around town weekdays for work. Need to get a New seal each time.

Thanks for asking I am putting an other video on soon I had to replace the key switch to . But there are 2 screws below the turn signal switch on right then pull it out . Disconnect 1 wire at a time to wire it in k. Should have 1 extra wire k
