I swapped the whole chassis out with a 97 Dodge 2500 diesel 4x4. Way easier to work on now.

I didn’t end up cutting it but it would have only been 6” so I would have saved the body line. Check out the difference in rear body lines from a short bed to long bed.

You got it! Mine was the “club cab” version. Extended cab would work too. Might actually be better.

@@HighClassJunker club cab! That's right. I meant quad cab instead of extended cab. Quad having doors. Same dimension from my understanding.

@jeremiahjwill yeah It took me awhile to get the different types down. The floor boards are basically the same but come to find out the seats do not interchange from the 24 valve to the 12 valve.

The chassis I used was an 97’ Dodge Ram 2500 long bed. Says it is 3.52 meters. There is many ways to get around the wheel base issue. You could shorten/lengthen the frame or so as I did and cut down a long bed to fit
