CrappieBoss: Fall and the Big Lake of the Ozarks fish are back. Bait size was the game changer
What ounce weight were u using ? Kendrick’s Rods ?
.5 oz.. If I need a little more weight I put a jig head on the bottom.
I have been doing this on Grandlake Oklahoma and makes for a quick limit Jigs and minnows run six rods at a time. Lots of fun.
I have got away from it with Livescope but I still love fishing that way.
Great vid! I ordered some cheap baitcasters off Amazon a couple years back and like them so much better than my old spinning reels.
alot of people use them on the long poles. I have gotten used to the spinning reels.
Just curious, are you trolling or setting still doing this?
Trolling.. I try and move .5 MPH or slower.
Going to make a trip down shortly. What are some good ramps/areas to put in? Thanks for any input.
I use the Gravois Mills public ramp and the Wigwam public ramp.
Just bought a millennium seat, how do you like it?
Like them a lot.. Very comfortable and cooler in the summer. If you get the double seat make sure you keep everything tighten up.
@travislepley6969 I got the 100. Hell I go fishing to get away from people, no doubles here. Thanks for the reply.
Good advice! Great video 😊 Main lake points?
yes or just off the point.. Thanks for watching.
💞Wow🤍🧡🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Skinny, about 50 years ago.
Thanks but you may be needing a new TV
Nice video, keep them coming ❤
Thank you! Will do!
Awesome
Where is this at?
Lake Ozarks central Mo.
Excellent work! Loved it 😊👍👏
Thanks.. more to come.
Awesome
Thanks
It was a pleasure watching you catch crappie
Thanks more to come..
How long is the spawn ty
Usually couple 3 weeks. This year was warm early then cold. Had the crappie a little confused.
Enjoy watching. What Garmin and transducer are you set up with.
LVS32 mine is about 5 years old..
Love the videos ! If I could make a suggestion put a go pro on the livescope so we can see the fish reaction to the baits. Keep up the good work!!
I do sometimes, may have to get a 3rd camara. The link below I believe is what you want to see. This is my favorite. ua-cam.com/video/oiPeJc7oSfw/v-deo.html
Correct me if I’m wrong but is that a B’n’M Blue Diamond Series 75th Anniversary Rod, in an 8’ length? Just curious how it cast and usability
No it is a HH Patriot.. I love it..
where you located?? They been spawning in TN for A month now!!
Central MO.. It is happening now..
Another great show.
Thanks for watching!! More to come..
Great video as always
Thanks for watching!
Good afternoon ! Today is Wednesday march 6,2024. I need your help please. I love casting for crappies and shells crawler and bluegills and red ear from the bank. Which size and name spinning rod you would recommend me to buy for casting only from the bank and what size and name spinning reel you would recommend me to buy also please. May the lord be in your heart and your soul today to answer all of my questions that I’m asking you for please and May the Lord bless you and your family and your UA-cam channel in 2024 please 🙏🙏 ! Can you please do a little more casting for crappies UA-cam videos in 2024 please ✌️😎
HHrodsreels.com They are what I use.. Much more casting to come this year..
Thanks so much for sharing..awesome
Thanks for watching!! More to come..
Looks like fun! Do you think if you'd adjust your gain it might take some of that dirt off your screen? 😂
Yes , it was dirty. Amazing what you do not see until you make a video. Thanks for watching more to come..
I enjoy you sharing your live with us. Thanks and a great day
Thank you! You too!
Good job guys. 👍 looks like there was a lot of fish shallow in the water column.
They do that in the winter.
Awsome video Mr. Travis. Reminds me of the day I went out fishing and could hardly get them to bite on jigs and after I tied a cork and minnow on. It was game over. I feel like that's one of the deadliest presentations for finky crappie. Great video keep them coming. 👍
minnows can be the ticket. Sorry so long to reply just saw this..
Great video again. I wish I could have visited with you at the show last weekend. I got sick as a dog.
Hopefully feeling better.
Through those trash fish in the trash can
Good job buddy. Your back at slaying them Crappie. I need to see what jigs you use. Last time I was out there I was catching very few with plastic jigs. But, they were on a good bite with minnows. What ounce jigs do you use again?
That day I was using 1/16th. I use those and a lot of 1/32..
@@travislepley6969 interesting I used a 1/32th with some natraul colored plastics and they didn't care for it.
they get that way. Next video I had to use a boober and a minnow..
Nice going
Thanks for watching!
Hey I fish down there. Stop catching all of my fish Travis!...Just kidding, I enjoy your videos.
One more video there then going back to Proctor area. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks that was good fishing and some great eating fillets. Yum yum. 😊
Thanks for watching! Much more coming.
Great video man. Like the intro as well. Loving the separate screen for the fish finder. I just subscribed to your channel. Keep it up. Tight lines brother.
Thanks! More to come..
Enjoyed the video, best when you show full screen fish strikes and please fix the seat squeak, thanks.
Thanks I will do that more.. I don't even hear the seat until I am editing. No promises, but I will oil it.. Thanks For watching!
Very Exciting Crappie video. Great Job!!!
Thanks for watching!! More to come.
Nice "toque"!😁
Thanks! It is very warm.
How deep where the fish and how deep did you fish? Thanks
The water depth was 10 t0 12 feet. I fished 2 to 3 feet down.
What’s the name of your boat seat your using??
Millennium Marine .. I love them.
Another fantastic video. Hope to see you at the Lake of the Ozarks Fishing expo in February.
I will be there.
I love watching your UA-cam channel
I know you from the gravois Mills access
Thanks.. Getting ready to go fish this afternoon..
Are you. tipping with anything?
I was using minnows only..
@@travislepley6969 I may try to get out over the holiday. Were you moving or just sitting over fish? I haven't done any spider rigging before.
I move around .4 to .6 MPH.. Slow way down when I catch a fish or 2..
Do you ever miss that live well? You need to try out for the Celtics.😁
Yes I do.. If it is a real good one I walk it to the live well..
Didn't like the cussing.
Fair push thanks.
Really enjoy your videos. Curious if you first locate fish with down or sidescan & then Livescope to pinpoint? Thanks!
I do exactly that. That is how I find almost all the brush piles I fish.
Thank you!
Silicone spray is about $5
It is all sprayed down. Funny I did not even here it until I was looking at the video.
Good day on the lake but would be better if you had live scope footage.
Livescope camera for what ever reason did not record.. i do not like it either.
Another quality video Travis, was wondering if you had any suggestions on places to stay in the Gravois Mill Area. I stayed in the little Niagara end of the lake. Would like to try a new area of the lake. Thanks so much 😊
Laurie Mo has a couple hotels. Gravois has one but I believe it is closed in the winter..
Great videos. Keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
How about it’s ten fine and now it’s mine😂another good video Travis.
I like it!
I would never turn on my Livescope and not use it. You pay a bunch of money for it use it others just need to money up and roll with the times my man 👍🏿
Probably will not be doing that a lot. Thanks for watching.
