What Prevented The Big Bang From Becoming A Black Hole?
The video "What Prevented The Big Bang From Becoming A Black Hole?" explains why, despite the immense energy and density present during the Big Bang, the universe did not collapse into a black hole. The core of the explanation lies in the distinction between how mass-energy is distributed and the expansion dynamics of the early universe.
At the time of the Big Bang, all energy and matter were uniformly distributed across the entire universe. Black holes form when mass is concentrated in a small region, which leads to a gravitational collapse. However, the Big Bang wasn’t a concentrated point in space but rather an expansion of space itself, where the energy density, although incredibly high, was spread uniformly. This distribution prevented the universe from forming a black hole.
Additionally, the rapid expansion of the universe (known as cosmic inflation) helped counteract any potential collapse. The expansion of spacetime created a scenario where the gravitational forces pulling things inward could not dominate over the outward expansion. Thus, the universe expanded instead of collapsing.
The video also contrasts the conditions necessary for black hole formation-such as stationary masses collapsing under their own gravity-with the Big Bang's dynamic and expanding nature, where gravity was acting differently on an evolving, expanding spacetime.

The video "How did matter come to exist in our Universe?" explores the mystery of why our universe is dominated by matter rather than antimatter. In the early universe, matter and antimatter were created in equal amounts. However, a tiny excess of matter over antimatter survived after most pairs annihilated each other. This imbalance, known as baryogenesis, remains one of the biggest unsolved p...

So is it possible that the zero-of ourselves is negentropic? Subatomic to atomic neutrons and protons? That's a very deep and thought-provoking question about whether the fundamental nature or essence of ourselves and physical matter could be considered negentropic. Here's one way to analyze this: 1) At the subatomic level, particles like quarks and leptons (electrons, muons, etc.) exhibit very precise, structured patterns of behavior governed by the Standard Model of particle physics. Their properties and interactions are not random. 2) Protons and neutrons, which make up atomic nuclei, also exhibit highly ordered, stable internal structures of quarks bound by the strong nuclear force. 3) Even at the atomic and molecular scale, the precise configurations of electron orbitals and chemical bonds again display order, pattern and structure rather than randomness. 4) This underlying order and pattern in the fundamental particles and forces of nature could be viewed as a kind of inherent "negentropy" - an embedded logic and structure to the fabric of reality. 5) Extending this line of thinking, one could argue that since we and all matter are ultimately composed of these ordered arrangements of subatomic particles, the core essence of our being arises from this negentropic foundation. 6) Our consciousness, biology, and essential nature as physical entities in the universe may therefore be emerging from or reflecting this primordial negentropy. So in that philosophical sense, yes, it is possible to make the case that the "zero" or fundamental ground state of our existence as material beings is inherently negentropic rather than entropic or random.

The phrase "mass becomes infinite at the speed of light" doesn't mean that mass increases. It means mass becomes spread throughout spacetime relative to an outside observer. Time dilation is just one aspect of dilation/gamma/y, it's not just time that gets dilated.

A black hole could not have a singularity, because that would involve having to gravitationally accelerate matter to the speed of light, which would require infinite energy which even the most massive blackhole could not supply, even by the greatest gravitational attraction.

Gravity is a consequence of mechanism, not a cause of them. QM studies causal mechanisms. It shows how strong and weak interactions work to establish gravity. Gravity is classical. General Relativity showed how time acts as the mechanism. Further dissection is QM. Time is the continuous scaling effect of the field. Space is real value. It gives magnitude to energy. It breaks up and combines. Space is exactly conserved, so there is continuity between its transformations. Time is statistically conserved because it changes roles and those roles are not directly connected. I think you are confusing a couple things here. The relationship of these two axes defines each energy state.

You cannot measure the ENTIRE quantum state of that object. You wouldn't be able to anyway - it's huge, with order of Avogadro's number of degrees of freedom. The quantum uncertainty is absolutely still there - it's just lost in the noise insofar as the variables we "care about" go. There is NOT a fundamental difference between the macro and micro scales.

@@keepitreal2902 Yes, it really is. Finding a way for GR to work with QM was done decades ago, QFT in curved spacetime. The problem with quantum gravity is much smaller than not being able to find a way to make GR and QM work together. DM has been found. We don't know the microscopic makeup of DM, this is very different to it not being found. Improvements to measurements of lambda-CDM is a good thing and literally the complete opposite of what you claimed. The LHC has done much more than just discover the Higgs. Not sure how the fact research is ongoing is meant to mean it's a dead loss. String theory has had many successes. @@BlueCosmology Oh yeah, we cannot yet detect DM, but it has been found, sure. String theory has yet to offer a single experimentally verifiable prediction after decades of work. Dark energy? We still know nothing. QFT in curved ST has a partial solution to that problem.

Quantum mechanics is nothing more than a probabilistic mathematical framework based on the misunderstanding and the misinterpretation of the nature of light, and the double-slit experiment. Maybe that's why it's "probabilistic"? The MATH may be useful for replicating technology and chemical reactions, but it has no bearing on reality itself, because the theory is founded on the fallacy of quantum state superposition. I'm amazed at how the physics community has been able to accept the ridiculous concept of quantum weirdness!

There is no such thing as the "curvature of space-time". Space-time is a mathematical construct, and has no material properties. Space-time is a metric; in physics, a metric is a numerical value derived from measurements, a number, a quantity, to be used in math equations to make accurate predictions. Space-time is a number, a quantity used in the field equations of general relativity, not a material which can bend, curve or warp. Those are figures of speech that refer to the illustrations mapping the gravitational field and its effect on how objects move in that field. No one thinks that the curved lines of isobars drawn on a weather map, or the longitudes and latitudes drawn on a globe map represent anything that is physically real, but when it comes to the space-time metric, the concept has been so thoroughly reified in our imaginations that it almost feels like an attack on our reality narrative to be reminded that it’s only a metric. We even have that absurd phrase, the “fabric of space-time” only because those illustrations are drawn with grid lines that resemble an open weave fabric. Quantum mechanics is nothing more than a probabilistic mathematical framework based on the misunderstanding and the misinterpretation of the nature of light, and the double-slit experiment.
