The LP was given to me by a friend in the early 80s and I instantly liked it. I was in a band and we covered Hey Sandy. It has the same subject matter as Ohio by CSNY of course. Do The Dance Now Davy is similar to Richard Thompson's Al Bowly's In Heaven, being about homeless ex-servicemen after WW2. A fine record.

Your experience with that album exactly mirrors mine. I found it in a bargain bin on sale for about ten pence, was intrigued by the sticker and bought it. I've tried for years to find out exactly what each musician contributed but with very little success. All the same it is one of my favourite obscure gem albums.

This is a fine series with Zahn particularly good in the lead. It’s about time he had first billing. Loved him in Longmire as well. Will watch anything he’s in. Hopefully Longmire can come back. Miss those characters. Terrific performances by all.

I watched a watch-oncer today called 'Sting'. Far too predictable, especially the ending. Features a 12-year-old girl and her pet extraterrestrial spider. I might try Project Silence although it sounds rather mediocre.

I hope you still have that HDDvd player it is the best player to up DVD to 1080

I have been saying for YEARS this movie MUST be remade with our new technology, this could be an awesome blockbuster if done right. I heard a few years ago that Will Smith was connected to a remake, but haven’t heard anything recently 😊

I recognize a lot of that hardware. The tape that could just be cut was often used as a boot strap loader, or even a line advance control on line printers. Often paper, but a boot one was metallic so it would last, and you guys couldn't cut it. Just before that scene was a hard disk, with like 50 platters, and a read/write head on each one. Bump it, as happened at our school, and $100k down the drain. If peter pan can fly, then Colossus can have miniature pixies that repair the vacuum tubes :)

This was an excellent movie. Lots of fun. It showcased nuanced political actions within and without the korean diplomatic corp.

I saw him in 1971 / 72 .middlesex poly London.He was very perssonable guy. Remember he did the song Sandy.I got the album later ,cheaply in a record store.I do remember him not been too nice about Elton John.something like he was a good boy always at home playing his piano and not realy part of the scean. Mick.
