ORGANO REPUBLIC MONSTERA PLANT SELF WATERING COCO COIR POLE
Thank you! Thank you ! 👍
Your welcome 😀
How is the Clementine tree going now? We have a sprout and are just about to plant it indoors sunlight isn’t the problem, but we’re still figuring out the soil and nutrients it needs. Thanks!
It's doing fine but still has not flowered yet. It is in a coco coir and perlite mix and I feed and water it about once a week. Check out Jobes citrus spikes amzn.to/48xN8sI
Why flood and drain rather than just a constant water level?
You want capillary action not flooding and also perlite would float
Thanks for the info!
It's a pretty flower.
I agree and easy to grow
Do you have a lot of issues with bugs ?
Not usually. The only problem I have ever had was spider mites because indoors it's warm and dry in my apartment and they love that. Usually not a big problem but this year has been a problem.
Usually sweet potatoes are harvested after 3 months.
Maybe in the South but I think they might take longer in my closet. Anyway I wasn't in a hurry and was waiting for them to flower before harvesting but they never did flower.
The leaf formation looks very cool 👍
Yeah very pretty its one of my favorites
Day neutral, otherwise known as everbearing.
Yes and day neutral and everbearing are actually different
Even the tiny ones are great as a side dish cooked in beef gravy(if you collect enough of them) or used whole in stews or soups. The wife and I don't waste any food source if we can...
I agree nothing goes to waste😀
people that make these youtube tutorial videos for us are the best ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks!😀
Holy $heet is what I’m thinking too!! Wow!!!!!! That’s pretty amazing
Must admit I was not expecting that.😀
Hey, I say if you get more than you put in, you did well. It’s pretty impressive you grew those indoors. Didn’t know that was possible. Enjoy 👍👍
I am always 😀😀trying to get better at growing but really anything that grows outdoors can always be grown indoors as long as you have enough space and light😀🌱🪴
Thank you for this! They are gobbling up my butternut squash!
Get rid of them fast. I lost mine because of a virus they transmitted even after they were gone. Hope you have better luck.
Good plant😊
😀
Hi 😊😊😊
🍓
TFS💚
😀🪴
Very neat! I wonder just how sustainable and cost efficient this even is though. So much energy input required to deliver that light and oxygen throughout the several months it takes to get a good yield. But if you're in a climate that doesn't get enough heat and light anyway, then this seems like a viable way to get it done!
Well LEDS dont use much electricity but I cant grow them outdoors in my climate. Cost effective? Probably not but a fun project and I doubt I would ever see a 4+ pound anywhere else.
Thank you !!!!!
Thanks for sharing brother, what kinda wattage are you using on them?
Its an old 250 watt COB 3500k spectrum
@@SMALLFARMSBIGIDEAS that's good to know I have something similar but only about 80 watt I think. I will give it a shot sometime. Thanks again
Thank you for posting this chris. I tried gorwing outside but my garden is a hotspot for cats around the street. They just came in and chill there and sometimes likes to dig and sit in my soil bags. I will give this indoor cupboard idea a try. hopefully itll work out. Love this setup.
You still have to refill the buckets. DRIP is easier. !
Yes every few days. But if you use drip you have to refill your reservoir. I use drip indoors but it's not practical for me outdoors.
Didn't see it growing...
No that was another video this one was just planting. ua-cam.com/video/x1dJ8DQiz8k/v-deo.html
Thank you. I'm going to be doing this exactly this way. Tip on spacing is perfect.
😀👍
Great video... How many seeds to you put in each pod?
Usually 2 or 3 because not all seeds germinate. Thin to the best single plant.
Everything looks great! Thanks for sharing! Take care of yourself! Happy gardening! God Bless!!!👍🙏❤😊
😀🍅👍
Plant in soilthe roots will come better
Dude I had some almost 5 pound roots in coco.
Really enjoyed your video! That tomato really took off! Thanks for all yours tips! Take care of yourself! Happy gardening! God Bless!!!👍🙏❤😀

Thank you for this video on the SPIDER FARMER SF 2000! Been trying to decide what kind of lights to get for an indoor grow room. To start I'm wanting to grow lettuce, tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, celery, parsley, and maybe some microgreens! So exciting!!! Take care of yourself, Steve! Happy Gardening! God Bless!!!👍🙏❤😀

Thanks for the video, Steve! I may have to add a cucumber to my list for my indoor garden. Take care of yourself! Happy gardening! God Bless!!!👍🙏❤😊

Thanks for the video, Steve! God Bless!!!👍🙏❤😊
Hello, Steve! Thanks for the video!👍🙏❤😊
Your're very welcome😀
It's so exciting to see someone growing full size tomato plants indoors! Most of the videos I've stumbled on are for Tiny Tim and Red Robin. I have plenty of space indoors and would like to grow Sweet 100s ,a beef steak type variety, and maybe an Early Girl along with a bush zucchini, some type of sweet pepper, and a hot pepper for my hubbie. Thank you so much for posting this! I'll definitely be checking out your other videos. God's Blessings Be With You!!!👍🙏❤😊
I am not a fan of cherry tomatoes they taste different. Early girl is good but I think beefsteak have the best flavor. Peppers do great indoors too hot and sweet and they are smaller plants compared to tomatoes unless you grow tomatoes vertically.😀
Nice job. I’m going to transfer my strawberry plants from outside to indoors and grow in dirt so that next year the runners will have a head start. I’ll bring them in at the end of summer.
Great just make sure they are day neutral or overbearing for year round crops.
Nice video 😊
Thanks 😀
Thank you for posting this! I just purchased two Aerogarden Harvest units on Facebook Marketplace for about what I would pay for one new. One had not been used at all. I think people find out that the consumables are going to cost about a buck a plant and lose interest. I happened to have some Root Riots on hand, so I just planted some seeds that I had pre-sprouted. I cut the Root Riot down one side and gently inserted the sprout. Now the really great and important thing that you didn't mention is that I will be able to repot my babies without having to remove the plastic cage, so no damage to roots. Also, these pods are peat moss which can decompose in my organic garden, while I have no idea what the Aerogarden plugs contain. I can buy these at a little over 28 cents, making them very cost effective. Of course, using anything other than Aerogarden supplies probably voids the warranty. Someone should tag the @RootRiot.
Happy gardening they are great units
Do i need to add calcium and magnesium to this to start my seedlings if i had worm castings mix with it and pumice?
No you dont for seedlings but you will want to add it later when they are larger.
@@SMALLFARMSBIGIDEAS How do I do that and is worm poop all it needs or is cal mag all I need? I wanna do this right soon as I get this.
@@ReXora25 Worm castings are great but they are really a supplement and cant provide all your plant needs. If you are in coco coir you will need calmag and you will need a good basic balanced fertilizer no matter what you grow in
The handling of your camera really makes me feel dizzy. Had to quit watching before I throw up.
Commenting on 4 year old video my best advice is don't watch

Coco coir needs a cal/mag supplement
Is that coco peat? If you would choose again what medium would you choose? I am thinking about coco chips for my own potatoes.
Yes it's coco coir. I would and do use it for everything I grow. I use it as a hydroponic grow medium meaning its always kept moist and fed with nutrient solution at every watering which is about every 3-4 hours using top feed drip. I have not used chips but my understanding is they are used more as an additive to improve drainage. They might be too coarse for potatoes but I could be wrong. I have grown regular potatoes in straight canna coco coir with great results,
@@SMALLFARMSBIGIDEAS do you put a specific number of gallons each time you water? How often do you have to make a 20 gal batch? Them taters drink crazy I bet.
@@ivan11h Depends on the plants. When I was growing sweet potatoes I had 4 5 gallon buckets and my 27 gallon reservoir needed replacing every 5 days. I use a timer to water and there are 4 drippers per pot and its set for 4 minutes on every 3 hours when lights are on. I never measured how much water per pot.
@@SMALLFARMSBIGIDEAS yep, thanks. Gonna have to try my own setup. I live in the tropics and plan to grow in 100-gal bags. I want to see if I will be able to harvest 4 times per year on 90-day maturity.
I have liquid fertilizer, but i have been using diluted bokashi tea instead for about a week or so, is that ok or should I go back to the liquid fertilizer?
I dont use organics in hydroponic systems because they can cause bad things to grow in the reservoir or plug dripper lines. But if you are not running hydroponics either is ok and I think you could use both but watch your plants and see how they react.
@@SMALLFARMSBIGIDEAS I don't have a watering system, I just water each plant directly, but all my plants are in coco perlite. So it's ok to use either bokashi tea or the liquid fertilizer?
Bokashi tea is very acidic so use sparingly and make sure your liquid fertilizer contains magnesium.
Very informative. Thank you!
😀🍀
Nice video. Thanks for sharing💚🫶🏾🐝🌻
Glad you liked it. Thanks😀💚
I finally was able to germinate melon seeds and I didn't do a damn thing. The two containers I have multiple seeds in were washed, rinsed, etc and placed in a glass bowl with an LED overhead light a distance away and allowed them to dry out. Dry out not wet. None of my wet seeds ever did this. It's drying them out and they don't need to be separated. All these videos are bogus. In addition, I germinated seeds by putting them in a small pot W Miracle Grow SEED SOIL. Water profusely and put in direct sunlight. Took about 3 days to germinate two of the many.
The key to germinate seeds is moist but not wet.
