EV for those who drive their car in discipline and well planned manner . Petrol or diesel car or suv is best option for those who goes long distance drive and have lot of option to refill Petrol or diesel from many different Petrol pump brands anywhere in india. No shortage of petrol pumps now a days . So petrol or diesel cars or suv is still safest option as EV charging stations are less in numbers compared to a petrol pumps in india.
I have a tata tiago ev LR version , done 17,000 kms driving in hilly mountainous roads only, EV'S are perfect for hills, no problem so far . I get 220-250 without Ac.

Great vlog with full of information !! I have bought MG ZSEV last year in Sep and driven almost 9000 km till End of April and after that I have gone out Bangalore and should be back by October only. Hence it taking enough rest before I start my next trips around South of India . Till date I have not faced and Chariging issues excepting once when Zeon charger was not working but I had reached home with 20% battery left . Since it was my first experience with family so was bit worried but at the it went off smoothly . I have seen rapid expansion of Chargers of JioBP Pulse Zeon and Static ! Kudos to all of them .I am 67 years and now want to make a trip to Kolkata from Bangalore soon keeping my fingers crossed!! I know I need at least three nights to reach Kolkata from Bangalore as I prefer to drive around 450 to 500 km in day without much effort . Me too was having few questions which got sorted out with this vlog . Is there any WhatsApp group of ev car owner ?
How was the trip to kolk, hope good, from del.
One should not pretend to be environmentally friendly when they are advocating to pollute rural areas to reduce pollution in cities. It's okay if an EV fits your needs, go ahead an buy it but to say that it is the best way to go is debatable.
han han coal burn kar k electricity generate karo and us se battery charge kar k khush raho ki bhai wah nature of bachaya
Yes , coal burning is better than burning imported petroleum.
@@GreenDriveIndia it’s not .. generally coal is the major pollutant and global warming cause. Most petroleum engines these days are very clean and mostly emit water vapor.
Ye badhiya tha guru
Great video best part wad the corollary of EV compared to healthy diet... It's a lifestyle change 👍👍
People buy an EV and think they're saving the planet😂 Either you're being pretentious or living in a delusion. Be true to yourself that financial aspects was your top priority.. although you have to drive more than 1L kms to reach a break even point if you consider the premium you pay for it compared to a petrol car.
Thanks for sharing your perspective. We said that the decision was based on finances but we started thinking about the other benefits afterwards
Karcha kum, shor kum, PUC khatam... #EVZindabad
How much will it cost to change the batteries? We hear that it is very expensive.
Batteries won't need to be changed for the life of the car. There owners in our group who driven for 2 lakh kms and battery is still going strong
39:39 Can't believe the guy just advocate outsourcing Delhi pollution to some rural areas only cause he lives in Delhi and pollution won't reaching his backyard. That was pretty selfish mate. Plus don't be in delusion that after 8 years, somebody will come finding your doorstep, "sir please give us your battery pack". Battery technology is evolving rapidly and Chinese even started using Na-ion cells which is 10 times cheaper than Li-ion and many such improvements will make today's tech outdated. One more thing don't lecture on ENVIRONMENT, you can find more how ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY EVs are: ua-cam.com/video/ZBw301S7Kf8/v-deo.htmlsi=BECV99GOaKO-3Cw_
Thanks for sharing your perspective. Outsourcing pollution was mentioned to emphasize the broader challenge of managing emissions, not to overlook rural areas. Do you replace your phone or laptop battery every six months or a year, as your statement suggests battery life equals the warranty period? When your vehicle's auxiliary battery needs replacement, does someone come to your doorstep asking for it? It's fascinating to witness rapid advancements in battery technology like Na-ion cells. While mobile OEMs introduce new models with advanced features every six months, people don't indefinitely wait for the latest upgrade. Interestingly, the video link you shared contradicts your points, clearly showing electric vehicles as superior. It's worth noting that many everyday items such as mobile phones, laptops, and other battery-powered devices also utilize the same rare earth minerals as EV batteries, suggesting similar environmental considerations. I admire your dedication to environmental awareness and look forward to a fruitful discussion on how we can collectively contribute to a cleaner future.
@@asheesharoraEV Sir, I just wanted to emphasize that EVs are not so environmentally friendly as projected to ordinary citizens. Besides I don't think battery life equals warranty period but data suggests it will definitely impact resale value, which is being surfaced lately in European and US market. I get your point on prioritizing larger population of big cities in realm of "broader challenge of Emissions" I agree. Regardless EV does make a sense for someone's running 70 kms in city traffic just on economical bases.
@@Petrolhead11yes most people 80% buy car for city commute especially for office . And average commute per day is not more than 40-50 km. I like evs because I am not dependent on govt to run my car. I can produce my own electricity and run my ev. Almost 5-7% ev owners have their own solar panels. You can’t run ICE without govt importing fuel and refining it. I admit that evs are not zero emission vehicles but even with 100% electricity with coal evs are more than efficient than petrol diesel car
@@GreenDriveIndia You are dependent on Govt since day 1. Govt policies favor EVs , look at the taxation. If EVs are taxed as ICE vehicles, you won't even consider EV. And don't forget subsidies. Hybrids make more sense than EVs but govt policies are making it harder to adopt. If Hybrids given tax benefit, EV market will cease to exist.
@@Petrolhead11 only difference as of now is gst and road tax. Evs will sell regardless.
Very true....Every EV owner can relate this....
Really inspiring for new ev owners....
Great stuff guys. Need more candid stuff like this! 🙌🏻
