Monetizing a UA-cam channel involves meeting certain requirements set by UA-cam. As of my last update, here are the key requirements:
1. Subscriber Count: You must have at least 1,000 subscribers.
2. Watch Hours: You need to have 4,000 valid public watch hours in the last 12 months.
3. AdSense Account: You must have a linked AdSense account to receive payments.
4. Community Guidelines Compliance: Your content must comply with UA-cam's community guidelines, copyright laws, and terms of service.
5. Two-Step Verification: Enable two-step verification on your Google account for added security.
6. Country/Region Availability: UA-cam Partner Program (YPP) must be available in your country.
7. Content Policies: Ensure your content adheres to UA-cam’s monetization policies, including guidelines on advertiser-friendly content.
8. No Active Community Guidelines Strikes: Your channel should not have any active strikes for violating community guidelines.
Once you meet these requirements, you can apply for the UA-cam Partner Program (YPP) through your UA-cam Studio account. UA-cam will review your channel, which can take up to a month, to ensure it meets all the criteria before approving your application.
