Good job it's got plenty of window space for stacking aftermarket upgrades! It looks otherwise surprisingly nice in there.
Looks a lot roomier and brighter in there than I ever imagined.
my asmr before bed
😂
@@leefrohock no joke i listen to class 37 thrashing instead of music
literally every class 37 driver has thought of putting tape over the 80 mph speed limited stocker and putting the throttle to max
i love the class 37 i favor my class 37 model over my 47
how many operators are in the locomotive at any given time
Normally only one, known as DOO or driver only operation
@@leefrohock that’s crazy! All the what iffs can happen but I assume the locomotive has an automatic off something how
Absolutely love this perspective never ever seen this before, and especialll of this my favourite class favourite loco.
Very nice video - there's something about the class 37's that draws me to them. Good looking and powerful. Great to see driver's view like this.
Brilliant 😂👏
Great video, love the camera position and works with the class 37 so well.
Was it a light loco? Great vid
Yep, Light Loco. Ran from Willesden TMD to Ilford and back just to keep certification periodically
Thanks for the info😃😃👍👍
Cockpit of Millenium Falcon!!
Any minute now that door will open an Vader will come out and shout "OI IM SLEEPIN IN HERE" LOL excellent
Good photography, greetings from Egypt❤

An AWS bell for the green aspect is so much clearer than a different beep.
Brilliant tones, i did the Ilkley tones in a 66 once, scared the life out of the people on platform 😂
Christ look at all the equipment they have to carry now !! Back in my day as a freight Guard it was just the AWS and that was it !! Although strictly l wasn't supposed to sit up the front with the Driver l often did - for a good old chin-wag and a cup of stewed tea !
Amazing…there’s only two people standing on that station and he still gave them the Darth Vader tune, top man…….
That’s in Kent between Minster and Thanet parkway 🤩
Yup 👍
@@leefrohock oh come on why didn’t anyone tell me 🤣
backed off on purpose, then tones and then a thrash for the camera! hahaha top man!!
I do the same thing when I'm driving my Siemens class 700 on the ECML. People love it! 😂
Brilliant, makes the day go with a smile too 👍
Forgot to add that i Signed 700s and did the original testing runs for the pantograph commissioning on the ECML. Had to take them through Canal Tunnels from Thameslink core on 3rd rail from Clapham Junction sidings. they were in SWT colours and i got stuck in the canal tunnel on the first run because i had ballast on board which simulated a fully loaded train.
@leefrohock that sounds really fascinating! I wouldn't want to get stuck in canal tunnels though 😂. I currently sign from 3 bridges up to Peterborough and Cambridge. Also sign 387s and Siemens 717s via the Hertford loop. Not a bad way to get paid
That'd be the imperial march then!
Oh Yes :)
I’ve never seen a cleaner class 37 cab in service. It looks brand new!
I do love a 'horny driver' .There should be more drivers like this legend !!. They should make it compulsory during driver training.
Awsome😊
Now, THIS is what I call a driver's eye view. The camera POV is just superb. More please!
Wish I could buddy, but I retired 3 years ago unfortunately. Glad you enjoyed the view 👍
Fabulous video ,Always wanted to operate one of these Beasts of the British Rail Era ❤Love his use of the horn😂🤣
MEINE LORDZ 🔥
no one in denmark will do this :(
Yeah its a shame as its so much fun playing tunes for the spotters and i loved their reactions too 😆
@@leefrohockyea
Nice to see that Hank from Breaking Bad found work after the show.
😂
Are you still a driver now mate? Be good to meet you out and about
I retired in April 2020 Liam :( . I had a great time though in my 30 years driving and it was only during the last 5 years that I was playing my signature Darth Vader tune !!!
Oh yeah? Watch this! 😮
He can't reach the steering wheel from there...
Awesome video great tones bo You work of ROG we no A drive call ANDY
Super clip, great angle and nice tones! Thumbs Up & Subscribe All the best from Dublin Andrew
The network needs more drivers like this. Everybody love a tone or two. 😊
I used to love playing tones for the spotters, the Darth Vader tune I invented which others now copy 😃
@@leefrohock mate honestly your a legend. I just watched the short you posted of the 37 starting up in Tonbridge yard.. one of my and sons favourite places to watch trains.
*@edenbridgejunction7526* Not everybody ?
@@leefrohock Good on you, this is an amazing video. Always wondered what your guys view was like..
@@leefrohockyou are the definition of absulute hellfire driver the way u did the darth vader u then instantly thrashed it and did a few more
Can’t help thinking…that lovely big window with the best view ahead is wasted. The driver’s view is restricted by a smaller window and the Dalek staring down at him.
You saved me writing with the same thought!
Quite….and no-one on the steering wheel either!
Hee-hee!
Yeah all those new gizmos required look so out of place in a 1960s cab.
EE loved putting putting the cabs as high as possible, until the Class 50.
We need more drivers like this, not just on the 37.
Vic Mackey from The Shield driving a Class 37!
Nice to see inside a class 37 cab!!
The fact he thrashed it at the end, wish more drivers were like this
ua-cam.com/video/qoKAFMFTycY/v-deo.html I guess this could be you?
Yep Deffo thats Me, Footage was recorded by Ben who i got to know quite well and often spoke with him at Ramsgate
Unbelievable, does he not realize the steering wheel is on the other side.
That's the handbrake
@@Sayoriwastakenits a joke
@@SayoriwastakenIt's British we drive on the left here 😂
@AlfieDoug bruh I'm british and we drive on the right of the vehicle
@@Sayoriwastaken Me too, could you tell me WTF is bruh supposed to mean is it some kind of kiddy Internet language like lol ?
Those poor contactors.
I'm sure they had a sense of humour and some joy in their hearts,
what 37 is that?
Either 37884 or 37800. Can’t remember for sure but think it’s 37884 :)
@@leefrohock mega
Great Tonez from the footplate crew
Hahaha Great :D :D
What a legend 😊 I hope he’s driving a 37 I go to see one day…
He’s retired now but he certainly was a legend!!!
Reminds me of my two Class 37 cabrides. 1) Edinburgh to Fort William via Cumbernauld and 2) Staines to London Bridge !
