You did well to cover so much ground and height in 14 hours. I remember walking from Dalwhinnie to Loch Ossian it took me almost 13 hours, some of it by torchlight.
It's such a beautiful and lonely part of Scotland, and I adore it for that reason. Thank you for your comment sir, I'll see you on the trail.

Another great Video Mr Walker, I am slowly getting through your videos. The SUW is good but much more isolated than the WHW so got go make sure you have plenty of supplies 👍

Thanks Mr Globetrotter, I needed the visibility for the good footage. These hills are very special to me so I had to go out and climb, film, and make a video for myself of them for when Im to old to do it anymore. So I'm glad you liked it. ATB
Brilliant video. The memories come flooding back of this walk I done with Andrew. Definitely need to stock up on food as there aren’t many places en route in comparison to The West Highland Way. The Southern Upland Way is definitely much tougher than The West Highland Way & obviously much longer but still really nice.
Thank you sir! It is much tougher, but so much more rewarding. I've figured out the best itinerary for getting from one shop to the next within the space of a few days from one another, its the lack of water thats an issue especially in summer when all the little burns and streams dry up. Makes you really appreciate a tall glass of ice cold water from your tap at home.
