Grace at the Green Light brought more than 60 unhoused individuals to Jazz Fest across two separate days, Thursday, April 25th and Friday, May 3rd, 2024. Javier Velez is a former Grace at the Green Light client. Now, he's a volunteer who is focused on giving back.

Grace at the Green Light is now serving the New Orleans unhoused population at St. Jude Community Center, located at 400 North Rampart Street.

After a great seven year partnership, Grace at the Green Light is moving its daily feeding location from Living Witness Church of God in Christ in Central City to St. Jude Community Center at the edge of the French Quarter.

Jazz Fest for the Unhoused 2023

Since August of 2014, Grace at the Green Light has been reuniting unhoused individuals with loved ones in other cities that may be willing to provide a more supportive environment for them to achieve daily success than the streets of New Orleans.
