There is much we could not possibly know about the anti-deluvian age. If you come from a place of unbelief seeking evidence to prove it, you will likely find it. If you come to science with an objective willingness to see the truth of Scripture, you will find plenty of evidence that supports young earth creationism and an understanding of humanity that is in line with genetic studies. These Christians are far far from the Lord Jesus Christ, they honor him with their mouths and lips, and their fear is tought by presteps of men, the Bible wasn't for them in the first place it was for the Saints 2000 years ago, and only members of the The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints who are blessed and right before God almighty who can understand the Bible.... I cannot so confidently say so for those who follow Joseph Smith. With love friend, you have been led astay by a false prophet to a different gospel than that which Jesus and his apostles proclaimed. Yay... two gospel messages!!! Answering no to the first two questions makes your third answer illogical. We can't debate the validity of an illogical view. Your first two "no's" should make you reconsider what you believe and teach. There really is no debate... The worst crimes in history have been committed in sanctimonious zeal- but the gays are over here quietly building joy in communities of transcendent, criminalized love. There is no question that we embody the courageous power of Christ better than you could even understand him. Get out of the suffering game, scorn the love that demands fear and obedience, and try to meet god where she actually lives- in the emergent kindness of the people you tread on.

The law in essence predates the Mosaic covenant. Adam transcended the law in the covenant of works. Codification is not required for accountability. Romans 1 makes this clear. Clearly there is a particular application to the covenant people of God, but it's principle Paul expands to all humanity. Christ mediates, redeems and restores us. We stayed and had conversations and spoke the gospel afterwards. The intent was to sing truth, worship God, and pray for his blessing upon the ministry at hand. It was also to declare to the city and those bringing their children to the event that there is a God to whom they must give an account. Love proclaims truth and offers grace.

Also, the hymn is about Christians martyrs being willing to endure the world's hated for Christ

@@stonemountainbaptistchurch For people who have never set foot inside a church, let alone heard that particular hymn for the first time, when they hear "the Son of God goes for to war," they're not thinking about Christian martyrs, they're thinking that your intent is to make them martyrs.

@@lawrencestanley8989 i appreciate your intent as well. We have no hatred toward any, nor our intent to be threatening. However, to preach a gospel of grace, one must know why that grace is required. As such, it is appropriate to sing of Jesus' reign, his holiness, and his wrath to be poured out on all who do not repent and trust in him. We seek to be balanced in proclaiming these realities of scripture. The evil on display is to be confronted, called what it is plainly, and then grace is to be extended and proclaimed in Christ. Our hope is that many will become part of the "such were some of you" and join in joyful worship of God with a restored sexuality by his Holy Spirit. Thank you for your engagement Grace and peace

@@lawrencestanley8989maybe you can't hear the words, so I will help you here. The Son of God goes forth to war, A kingly crown to gain; His blood-red banner streams afar: Who follows in His train? Who best can drink His cup of woe, Triumphant over pain, Who patient bears his cross below- He follows in His train. The martyr first, whose eagle eye Could pierce beyond the grave; Who saw his Master in the sky, And called on Him to save. Like Him, with pardon on his tongue In midst of mortal pain, He prayed for them that did the wrong: Who follows in his train? A glorious band, the chosen few On whom the Spirit came; Twelve valiant saints, their hope they knew, And mocked the cross and flame. They met the tyrant’s brandished steel, The lion’s gory mane; They bowed their heads the death to feel: Who follows in their train? A noble army, men and boys, The matron and the maid, Around the Savior’s throne rejoice, In robes of light arrayed. They climbed the steep ascent of Heav’n, Through peril, toil and pain; O God, to us may grace be giv’n, To follow in their train. People interpret actions however they will in ignorance. You can't tell me that this is an imprecatory song. Even though imprecatory psalms are highly appropriate in this setting. Please stop accusing these brothers of "being mean." It's effeminate.

We must absolutely worship God. That worship informs our thoughts, affections and actions and sanctifies us as we are conformed into the image of Christ. 👍

Awesome Baptists are singing Psalms too! Seems a bit theonomistic to protest those dead in their sins.

What is your standard for good or evil? I agree the loss of a child is tragic, but in your worldview, why does it matter?
