I first watched Dumbo a few years ago when I was looking after my sisters kids. I liked it. The children thought it was very sad. We have a very special relationship to Disney here in Sweden, as we always watch on Christmas Eve, a Disney show called 'From all of us to all of you' with Benjimin the Cricket (from 'Pinocchio') as host. It has segments from all the classic Disney movies like 'Snow White', 'Jungle book', Robin Hood', 'Cinderella', 'Lady and the Tramp' etc. Dumbo is however not in it. It is one of the most watched programs every year in Sweden. I still watch it, even though I am now 43. Well, it's a Christmas tradition!! My favourite segment is 'Santa's workshop'.

I don’t know… I mean the suicide of his wife… That just seems like a bit of a stretch in order to set up this movie in such a way that you have these two people who have lost their spouses. I mean she kills herself? Really? 😒

I plan on seeing 2 movies next month-Inside Out 2 & Kinds of Kindness. I love Pixar and I love Lanthimos, so I’m pretty hyped for those two. I’m also hyped for Horizon to come out so I can stop seeing that goddamn trailer in front of every movie I see.

I love this movie, and certainly feel that it has (at least in the top two) torture scenes out of any I’ve seen!

Ooh, a Palme D'Or winner I've actually seen. Let me remember how the movie made me feel. * - the world goes black and white as the opening chords of The Sound of Silence play - *

It wasn't bad. It wasn't predictable and it had so many intense moments. I found it scarier than the first Strangers movie. The movie got suspenseful after the first 20 minutes. Can't recall a horror movie where I was on the edge of the seat MOST of the time. So for anyone who hasn't seen this movie yet, don't buy into all the "it is bad" hype. I think that's total BS.

I thought it was…fine, or at least, thought it wasn’t much worse than the other 2. Prey At Night is still the best if for no other reason than the pool scene. Marketing for this one was rough though, thought this trilogy would be a prequel story but it being a reboot/remake that copies the same story beats from the 2008 film wasn’t what I expected. At least I got to hear Joanna Newsom again.

Ingmar Bergman can be hard work at times. I so much prefer Fanny and Alexander to this. Speaking of hard work - it's time for a Star Wars verdict. Original trilogy: So, with a lot of inspiration from 'Flash Gordon' and a re-programmed Dalek from 'Doctor Who' (R2-D2), Lucas has managed to create a wonderful and brilliant space toys commercial for kids. I mean, why have a furry character with no dialogue, if not for selling furry dolls to 10 yo kids? Great fun, with a peak in Episode V. Overall 7.0/10 Prequels: This starts out very weak, but ends on a high note. I can't help feeling this trilogy is completely unnecessary, except for the expansion of the merchandise. Overall 6.6/10 Sequels: This is much better, and you can tell Lucas is not as involved anymore as the dialogue writing is better. But the ending is quite disappointing and a bit messy. Overall 6.9/10 Most annoying characters: C3PO, kid Anakin, Jar Jar Best characters: None, but it was fun to see Saruman and Moon Knight again. Overall Episode Ranking: VII, VIII, V, III, IV, II, VI, IX, I 😉

Hearing about these movies makes me hyped for the chance to see some of the Cannes initial showings in just a couple weeks! I will report my thoughts on all of the ones I’m able to see, and it was your guys’ content in part which encouraged me to apply to go! Can’t wait to check out this movie soon as well 😁 Stay awesome and analytical. PS, as a fun challenge, you could try and cold-predict (guess) what film will be the Palme d’Or winner this year based on the competition lineup. We can report back at the end of next month to see if any of you guys get it right!

The problem is, while we all pretty much agree this movie sucks....we all still watched it. Some of use watched more than once. Success at Netflix is measured in views. They don't care about quality, and they certainly don't care about critical response. As long as we are willing to watch, they're gonna continue to pump out additional Rebel Moons...whether they suck or not. As much as I hate to admit it, if Rebel Moon 3 came out a few months from now, I'd totally watch it...and so would you.

Just a piece of advice for Tanner, we hear both of you through the same speaker. It would be less annoying if you reduce your yeah, mmhmm, yes, ok, yeah, yep, yaa as Tucker speaks.

Well, as I am struggling to get through the Star Wars prequels, Rebel Moon was a welcomed distraction. However, it turns out that this rebellious moon sucked big time. I kept waiting for Anthony Hopkins to start a rebel war, but no, I guess we have to wait for movie 4 or 5 for that... And suddenly, the Star Wars prequels feels like masterpieces....

The most shocking part is that people had to edit and work on these films. How did none of them realize it was going to be bad? Did they not have eyes? Why purposely release a bad movie and sour whatever reputation the films could have had? Why waste so much time and money making a product that is very obviously BAD???

Looks bad
