This is for morons with IQ's of under 40.
Where do i sign up? 🙋♀️
This is Maine?
Sorry but real Nerds would fight in historical armour, not in this Sportsequipment. But i understand that you have to keep an eye on each other safety. Maybe if you like it a little ruff and more accurate try "Harnischfechten" from europe. Here in germany is a Dude "Dequitem" (UA-cam name) but there are also many actors, historians and Nerds in Poland, Ck, Austria and many other countries who try to fight in an historical accurate way. Auf Brüder, das Schwert fest in der Hand!!
Lmfao 🤣 you are hilarious and I got faith you definitely got through this! I’m really sorry by the way! I’d be pissed too! 🤯🤬😳
lol thank you! Made the best of it hah

I need to make my way to Maine sometime to see the beautifu boats scenery and lobster
It's the best
I bet opposing teams love when the other side has female members.
Help me out here; Bashing one another with swords while in full plate armour... Doesn't really simulate medieval combat and doesn't really apply martial arts of any sort? You used maces to bash one another with and ofcourse you can't do that because then people would actually die.. as they used to in battle. DUH. Just like how the "I'm going to try and murder them and hope their armour keeps them alive." Bro wants so maybe he should use a blunt weapon instead of a cutting one. What I am wondering is if this whole affair could actually be more like a realistic sport with realistic techniques with swords and rondel daggers that have taser capacity. Maybe hard rubber armours that are insulating so you have to, just like in reality you would need to, find slashes and thrusts between the gaps with your sword and dagger? Sure there is a place to bash, kick, punch in armoured warfare I am sure and no I am no expert but using swords as concussive weapons and just bashing with them seems.. odd and out of place is all I am saying. Doesn't seem very "Historic" or "Simulative" of how these weapons and armour actually functioned. Each to his own, everyone may do as they please to please themselves in their own time; the ambiance and the themology is splendid. Great video!
Okay just fyi, this whole process is called Bruhurt, also I am no expert I just saw a video explaining this myself, back in Medieval times they would train with real weapons which was great until too many people were being killed in training, they wanted to be able to train with real weapons without the casualties, hence the creation of Bruhurt, basically training with dull edged weapons. This did eventually turn into a sport back then as well as they would have competitions in Buhurt, what you see on these videos today are just a modern day version of what they were doing back then. So there is some historical context to this whole process. If I am wrong or just flat out missed something, please someone more well versed on this subject matter let me know, I find this all very interesting!
I am a fighter and I would have "knighted" you.
Roll for Sandwich?
Can you use a mace? Because it seems these swords do shit. One strong blow and you are killing or crippling someone haha. I imagine the swords are dull?
This is such a high production value video why so few views
Agreed 🙏

Very cool video!
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it! Appreciate the kind words
I like how popular the sport is getting over time
Social media has changed the way people communicate. I have seen women , too. Yes, we as humans are afraid of rejection.
I've always wanted to get into this since the first time seeing the sport
This video would be much better without the poly talk.
Do you think all media should be curated to your specific likes and interests only or just this video in particular?

This is awesome can't help but smile watching this
Helllll yaaaa!!! We love a smile!!
I recently bought some property between Cherryfield and Deblois and the blueberry barons are so damn cool. I have to drive through 3 miles of blueberry fields to get to the property. I heard that the area gets heavy fog and that the blueberries love the fog. When I was buying my camp last November, I had to drive through the 3 miles of BB barons in the heaviest, thickest fog I've ever seen, you couldn't see 5 feet in front of the truck, it was pretty wild and it was heavy fog the entire 3 miles. Thank Thor my GPS worked or I would have been so lost. The real estate agent told me I'd have to drive through these BB fields to get to the property but was prepared at how truly vast the fields are, it was literally 3 miles of blueberry bushes and on they're on both sides of the road for as far as I could see. And that was only one patch, there's BB barons all over the area and they're all huge in size. I can't wait to meet all the nice people in the area and to be a part of the community.
It’ll be so much fun during pollination. Here’s a hint-keep the windows rolled up
@@Soundthenew22 I've been obsessed with the downeast area and its culture. I've recently watched 6 or 7 videos on how they pollinate the blueberries with honey bees and how they truck in the bees from all over the country. Sometime big bumble bees are used. They showed how they setup electric fences around the hives to keep the bears away. So I assume I'm going to see a LOT of bees for those weeks. I'm not sure when the pollination-season is, but it appears that its late spring/early summer, may/june, is that correct ?
@@TrevortonOffroad it sounds about right, whenever they start blooming. Might want to keep an eye out for the bears too around then. Have you met the guys that tend the fields yet? They’d know everything about that section. Should be another way in besides through the barrens
@@Soundthenew22 Yeah I hear that there is a large black bear population in the area. I haven't met anyone tending the fields yet because I just bought the property in November 2023 and have only been there twice. I'm currently living in Pennsylvania but I'll be moving to the Cherryfield property in late March/early April. From the best I can tell, the only way to my camp in Cherryfield is through the barrens. I'm north of the town of Cherryfield and very close to the southern border of Deblois. I can't wait to explore the area better, perhaps there is an easier way to get to my property but I haven't found it yet. Seems like the two Narraguagus rivers have the property surrounded on the east and west sides so the only way in is through the north and that means I have to drive through 3.5 miles of blueberry barrens... and then drive another 3.5 miles of woodland to get to my property.
@@Soundthenew22we bring bees in about may 10th until about 2nd week in june
That’s not being a nerd it takes massive cardio and big b#$&@
Who said you can't be a nerd with good cardio and massive b#$&@'s?!? I have all those things. The holy Trinity
@@TeaganWright207 people seem to put a negative connotation on being a nerd, it is not, when someone says something like "geeking out" on something, it just means really delving into an out of the ordinary interest and/or hobby, calling them nerds in not putting them down, great video by the way!
I can’t believe the humpy dumpty sour cream and clam chips didn’t make it in here. 😭
You're soooo right. I also have to do the Budweiser clamato drink, which is disgusting but I'm dedicated to my art😜
I love Moxie. Something about that burnt motor oil mixed with cough syrup taste that just hits the spot.
It does give you the feeling of being back in the 1800s and curing some illness from the frontier times.
I did this in the 90s in cheeryfield area, its hard but rewarding work.
'Promo sm' 👊
I see men, not nerds
lol this isn't what i call being a nerd either
''can you knight me?'' lol
I mean, I thought it was a valid question. Would look good on a resume. Lol
@@TeaganWright207 it was a nice joke
HAHA YES!! Polyamorous knights let’s go! I’ve wanted to get into this sport for a long time and I’m glad that there’s a strong bond between some knights like that. I’m poly myself and smooching each other after getting my shit kicked in sounds awesome I love hugs and new friends as much as I love blunt force trauma!
This is your sign. (Enter montage music)
nerd is an interesting word for an athlete
