just some random video of people from the local scene in 1992
Why is it so hard to find this album
Yes
Holy shit I’ve never seen a video of them this early they are literally babies!!! Haha
legal, antigão
NWSUS!!! I wonder what the kids are up to these days in the suburbs? Sophmore year of high school... goddamn such a nice looking venue.. why werent more shows played here than the gross old Knights of Columbus???
Its filmed like a French art movie
Aww. Zero comments from Gauge's last show? Underappreciated!
Love this song
Worth it for the people watching alone
This sounds so good!!! where can I buy the vinyl record? Can’t find it anywhere 😞
Discogs has a few for sale. when i get paid again i'll probably buy a copy and digitise it to upload. seems like its lost media rn.
shoutout to the guys who enthusiastically high-five each other at 3:56 and then immediately move on with their lives
brilliant
Thank You For Uploading This Treasure.
we need non live versions of these on youtube:/
Here Alan makes one of his early appearances on network tv and amazes with these never before seen closeup tricks. He is and was the greatest magician of all time because the audience was right there litterally inches away from him and often physically involved. He has been forever copied but unequalled.
Most magicians doing the cigarette recorder Scotch and soda the shop cup invisible deck the rising card deck don’t even know they’re copying Dan Allen
Woah....Alllllllll my friends from high school! Everyone knew everyones name. It made the Traditional high school reunion concept seem S000OOO lame. Who needs it? I'd rather do this for the rest of my life seeing people you knew/know from years ago as well as making new friends. "Music brings people together" and we should NEVER be complacent or blasé about it! Don't ever let that 'concept' go!!! Thank you for posting this novione! <3 VV
94 must have been a crazy time to be in this music scene <3 Thank You Victor, for your part in the influence you guys have had on music as a whole! The butterfly effect is crazy lol I wonder if the Tetsuo band was inspired by Akira the Japanese Animation?
Just wanted to tell you that your playing is a massive inspiration and that Cap'n Jazz is one of the greatest bands ever. I can never listen to a Cap'n Jazz song without ending up listening to pretty much all of Analphabetapolothology.
Cap'n Jazz setlist: 37:13 Que Suerte! 40:30 The Sands've Turned Purple 43:35 We Are Scientists! 47:38 Geheim 52:10 Troubled By Insects 56:54 Little League 1:00:53 Precious
wasn't this gauge's last show? how come they're not in here

37:13 <3
thanks for the upload 90s please come back!
Holly crap! I think I saw Katie Keeler!? If anyone knows we're she is these days I would love to know.
why do they play with their backs to the stage?
GMunny84 you heard about emo?
carter wahl its a bit more simple than that, i read that the bassist in cap'n jazz does so to keep in time by facing the bass drum. and other times are because the members probably arent completely comfortable playing infront of a crowd
Also if you're playing floor shows that are tightly packed it's a lot easier to face away from the crowd to take up less space.
awesome! any plans to post the GAUGE part of this set?
Nice.
I think it was called "Banana Seat"
Wow crazy that this wasnt ever printed or put on tape; is there a recording anywhere do you think ? Its a great song
This is cool. "Can I interject? You need to turn up your instruments." Haha!!! Classic.
I still remember meeting Don Alan back in 1990. I love seeing how he presented those routines back then!
Don is one of the very very few close up magician I would put in a category with SLYDini Or Albert goshman
WOW
@novione Think you could upload some of the Tetsuo footage? I would love to see that. And the Gauge too :)
haha david with hair he is the best
I liked the ending a lot, that was cool footage!
looking for tim mcilrath in this vid... he apparently never missed a skk show
that's impossible. he'd have been like 12 or 13 here. and kato has played hundreds of shows. nobody who isn't in kato has been to all of them. but he's in the 1995 Fireside Bowl video. so is Matt Skiba, and my dumb face.
Has Sam Zurick ever faced the crowd during a performance in his life? Maybe if he did, everyone would die from the magical energy builing within his fingers.
Is that Dennis at the end? He's really let himself go.
