Hey by the way , quick question , do you think your gear box and drive train can Handle 12s motor and esc? I was thinking about swapping it out sometime down the road. Just wanted to know for future reference.
With a 2WD car I think 8s is more than enough power. If you do decide to go with 12s, we would recommend upgrading to an aluminum transmission housing and steel spur gears, all upgrades are available on our website.

So a 45cc will fit from the stock 29cc placement?
Yes just make sure the engine you purchase says its compatible with a Baja. This just means it has the correct mounting holes. The 45cc linked in the description is the exact engine we used :)

I see you dont have the bottom support bolted on for the pipe I had to bend mine to get it to fit

That was the tire expanding and hitting the body for a split second. Not a major concern, just means we were having fun :)

Awesome! My Rovan SLT buggy is running a OBR reed engine and a 2 speed trans, they are a blast!
So weird they went with that for pinion and spur what does it make sense I've never seen any opinions like that so you have no choice
It seems like a great rig, but make a video where you actually run in on dirt and not in a parking lot with cars moving- it's not that safe, since you gave tips about responsible rc users. And try and make it better next time, without the wind and cars moving in the area. Once again the car itself seems great !!!

That is a sweet rig! I like my Baja, but I also like electric rigs. I had an Arrma Mojave EXB I built into an 8S monster, and it was scary on 6S. Great video.

This actually looks really nice minus the lipo box. Really questionable decision there but maybe someone will come out with a mod.
The box is nice to protect the batteries and not all the pins are necessary, so it doesn't take too much effort to change batteries. There are also generic battery trays that could be installed by drilling some new holes to use more traditional velcro straps.

Any Truck size tire will work great, just like any other LT truck!

Would you buy this or the Traxxas Raptor R?
The Traxxas is more oriented toward bashing, the Traction Hobby is more scale for crawling and trailing and is slightly larger. It depends what you want to do with the truck. I will say we have jumped the Traction Hobby and it holds up well!
The prices of these have gotten out of hand.

Requires your own 2 to 4s Battery and Charger (we sell NHX brand batteries and chargers if you're interested), the truck includes everything else you need though. We ship out of NY, most deliveries in the US take 2-3 days at most. And we offer free shipping!

absolutely. These can be great race vehicles. I have the V1 myself.
You can put street tires on it and race on asphalt, they look like formula 1 race cars! I have 2, theyr'e a blast!

Yes you can! The stock rims are 2.2 size. So any crawler tire meant for a 2.2 rim will fit. Loosen the 6 screws on the backside of the wheel to remove the tires.
I like mine but I have an extra wire for lights and no place to plug it in.
This is normal, that wire is unused and extra. Enjoy your truck!
