I know why they don't do DCI Southeastern @ Mercedes-Benz anymore but every time I see a video of it I get sad. :(

both Blue Devils "wins" since this year have failed spectacularly to even approach the brilliance of "Babylon". THis year especially was so UNMEMORABLE that I couldnt remember anything but Moon River within 15 mins after the show.. Executed brilliantly yes, and that is where the judges need to get a goddamn clue about the QUALITY and impact of the show as a whole need to be valued a lot more than just technical proficiency. I will give the BD machine credit for their long brilliant history, but the last few years have provoked a LOT of people to wonder why they are damn boring now.

Music wise, this show was amazing. Design wise, it's just unfortunate to see. The members and field staff are not at all at fault, they did a great job.

Am I the only one who was always disappointed in this ballad? And by that I mean, I really wish they held that one note before that big note longer, like when the mellos have their licks and it leads into that note, I always wished that note was held

I saw and heard it live at DCI Katy and it was so beautiful and powerful it was really heart touching but raw power

This music was really good, brass performed excellent. But this visual design was pretty lame. With the right visual package I think this show would have been top 2. Since 2017 their visual design is kinda meh. 14-16 were all much better concepts. Hopefully 2020 improves on that.

just noticing this a year after this video came out but at 2:53 bass 1 misses a stick flip and drops his stick then reaches to get another stick but drops It too so he has to lean over and pick one up
