Beautiful performance

I've run into Sleepy Dog several times now at a neighborhood bar in Brooklyn Heights, NY, which, sadly, offers no music. We discussed his music and his influences, one of which he said was Dylan. You can hear that in this vocal, though Sleepy's delivery is sui generis. THis is one of the better videos I find of his performances available on UA-cam.

I’ve seen them once and hope to see them again, and drag as many Deadhead friends as possible. I love that they play LIKE the Grateful Dead, without just sounding like the Grateful Dead (whether or not it’s a Dead cover). That open, loose, jammy way the band works is delightful, and I love harp and pedal steel floating on the usual rock base trio.
